United StatesAs always the Ibis breakfast is first rate. Good coffee, fruit, eggs, bacon, or sausage, three different kinds of juice and all sorts of gluten free offers. Loved how they had full fat milk fresh from a bottle for my long black coffee. We could even eat outside on the balcony overlooking the river.
The staff were helpful and friendly, of course.

Please go the Hamilton Gardens - even if you don't have green fingers - its not that kind of garden. Its art! It's different cultures and ways of living. We had an excellent time, and the prices were reasonable.
Seemed to be lots of activity in Hamilton itself and the eateries on Grey St were great!

Excellent locations and nice city. Attractions like hobbiton movie set tours , coromandel driving creek railway and hamilton gardens are good. And waitomo glowworm caves is also an interesting place to visit.

The lake and the riverside walks are great places to spend time, and the Botanic Gardens and Hamilton Zoo are perfect for family day trips. Lots of shopping options if you are that way inclined. Convenient to other scenic spots around the Waikato region such as Hobbiton, Lake Kainui, Pirongia, and many more.

Hamilton is a good place to long stay, This time we stay for about 2 weeks
I felt everything was good,Traffic was not so crowded as Auckland, the weather was good. Intercity Bus is convenient to reach Auckland international Airport terminal. It is convenient to visit Hobbiton movie set and Rotorua, Agrodome farm show is full of fun, it is worthy to travel to Hamilton.

We were travelling to Hamilton to visit family and friends and the location was exactly right for us. We didn't see much of Hamilton as that wasn't the purpose of our visit, though we did get to visit the Hamilton Gardens and that was a lovely experience.

Our one night stay here was enjoyable. Staff were extremely helpful & courteous. The hotel was extremely busy as a cricket test was on in Hamilton at the time of our stay, but there were plenty of staff working to cover car parking and a very busy breakfast service. Our room, which was exceptionally clean had a view of the Waikato River. The hotel is well located in the town center with heaps of near by bars and restaurants.

The staff are friendly yet professional. They were also very considerate of my request to a possibility of checking in early as we arrived in Hamilton earlier than usual check in time. Location is very convenient and the ambiance of the hotel overall is good.
