Initially I thought some countries means lot of restrictions, but Muscat (OMAN) is friendly country, peaceful and rich heritage country. I prefer to stay, enjoy the beaches, opera house, food, night life etc.

Muscat is a city rich in culture and history, with warm and welcoming people. During our three-day stay, we visited the Grand Mosque, Royal Opera House, Mutrah Corniche & Souq, and Al Alam Palace. We enjoyed tasting authentic Omani cuisine and sweets—especially the traditional Omani halwa with gahwa. Since we didn’t pre-plan the trip, we ended up driving to a few locations on different days, but the city’s excellent roads and much lighter traffic compared to Dubai and Abu Dhabi made getting around easy and pleasant. We also spent our evenings at some beautiful beaches, which our little ones absolutely loved.
Muscat stole our hearts ❤️ Rich culture, friendly people, smooth roads, stunning landmarks, and peaceful beaches. From Omani halwa with gahwa to evenings by the sea—such a perfect family getaway.

I was pleasantly surprised how nice Muscat is!
I was pleasantly surprised how nice Muscat is! The roads are not extremely busy, it has a diverse scenery (mountain, beach, tourist attractions, etc).
The taxi drivers I hired were all nice and friendly. it's nice to arrive to a country and be met with friendliness and welcoming gestures. I hope to come back again one of these days.

Very impressed with our first visit to Muscat and Oman.
Very impressed with our first visit to Muscat and Oman. Good hotels at good value and great food at great value. We rented a car from NAB rentacar which was delivered to the hotel. Didn't use taxis. Bought a SIM card from Omantel at the airport for use with our portable wi-fi router so we could navigate around ourselves. If you want a spectacular world class, 4x4 low range track up to Jebel Shams get the gps track from Wikiloc - Rustaq to Shams. Not for the fainthearted! Our Mitsubishi Montero Sport on worn factory tyres managed easily.

Muscat is more authentic than places like Dubai and Qatar, and a lot more laid back. It isn't expensive (its a lot cheaper than Dubai) and there is a lot to do. The main mosque is very impressive and the day trips to the islands for snorkelling are good. The main souq is also very good

Everything in general was excellent.
Staff was very pleasant and helpful
Breakfast was really great, with lot's of variety.
Services were amazing(swimming,gym,spa)
Lavish parking setup
Great wifi connection
Clean room, with proper service in time.
All bathroom equipment available in abundance.
Location also is perfect, since in the heart of muscat town Ruwi, every important location was nearby.
I would say the best hotel in Oman, atleast for me the best hotel experience.

Nearly everything was perfect. We had a very comfortable and relaxing stay for the last dzys of our Oman holiday. Everything was like i expected to be from a 5 star hotel. The breakfast is very tasty and they have a wide variety of food.
