recently stayed at Cabañas Cerro Azul Panama on the lake and I must say, it was an incredible experience. The location of the cabins right on the lake is breathtakingly beautiful. The view from the cabin was simply amazing and provided a perfect place to relax and unwind. The cabin itself was cozy and charming, with all the necessary amenities to make our stay comfortable. The bed was incredibly comfortable and we slept like babies every night. The bathroom was clean and well-maintained, and the kitchen had everything we needed to prepare our own meals.

The property is nice and clean, well organized. The owner and the staff there were really friendly and attentive. 2 dogs and 2 cats on site but really tranquil. Bring your own food is a nice option since they have anything you need for cooking. Large area of lawn make it family friendly especially for the kids.

Everything!! If you are looking for a quiet peaceful stay in the rain forest then El Nido is the perfect spot. I enjoyed sitting outside my room totally engulfed in nature. John is an amazing host and has great suggestions on hiking trails in the area. Several good restaurants near by.

The location is amazing. The views are Million dollar views. Couldn't stop taking pictures. Some of the food is good. Chicken wrap was amazing. But a simple YouTube video could help teach the cook how to make French toast haha. The room was very clean; however, the bathroom is quite tiny, but clean at least. The animals, especially the parrot, were wonderful to visit. Would be nice if you stocked some snacks and candy for guests. We definitely enjoyed our stay.

Amazing views, so many trails to take and the property was absolutely stunning. Joe was wonderful. He arranged for gas to be brought to me as I ran short so he went above and beyond. Cleaning lady was thorough and kind.

I really can't say enough about welcoming, serviceable and friendly host(s)! The rooms were safe and secure. My particular room had a large kitchen, bathroom and a large bedroom. Airconditioning as well. Very clean. Remarkably priced. Many restaurants within walking distance.

If you go over carnival it is not peaceful and it's very...

If you go over carnival it is not peaceful and it's very loud, but we were there in the week and it was beautiful! They have live giards at the big 'pools' in the river which was great. The beer at Artemia was really refreshing and delicious. We had a meal at a local fonda that was delicious. There is a lot of hiking trails, that are well marked. I would not suggest going when it rains, since the roads are very bad and it will be slippery, I also suggest going with a car that is higher off the ground. We did not see any burds really besides ducks, it was eerily quiet during our stay.

Quite a long drive up the moutain so I thought it made sense to stay at least 2 nights instead of just one. Two, max three nights I would say. Very isolated and peaceful but nothing to do for more than 2/3days. Walks, hikes, waterfalls, eating, sleeping, relaxing. That's it , nothing else to do there
