IsraelThe owner is so nice! Gave me lots of information and showed me few rooms. My room was basic but cozy and very clean. The hammocks on the second floor with the view made my stay perfect. Place to relax and enjoy some quiet time after a hike. Lots of restaurants and super markets downstairs and in front of the hotel. Nice location. Bus station.

The area is small and pretty.
The area is small and pretty. Friendly people but the towns people have been barraged with too many tourists. There was a lot to do if you like hiking and looking at waterfalls. We didn't have the time.

El Valle is really green with lots of gardens and flowers unfortunately it was still the rainy season so some of the hikes were not a good idea to hike alone
The local craft beer pub restaurant was fantastic and so was the Italian restaurant in the centre of town

A beautiful place with many attractions: the climate, the vibrant colors of the plants, the small market, plenty of activities and places to visit, and the delicious local bread! Visit the butterfly garden, the serpentarium, the loquat tree, and the trail of square trees. The garlic shrimp at the country hotel are excellent. And the accommodations at Finca San Antonio are ideal.

A place steeped in history and surrounded by nature, it's a great spot to enjoy with family and pets. Hiking and climbing to the Sleeping Indian Mountain are a bonus, and the views are spectacular, offering a panorama of the entire town. The food is good, though the portions are small, and the weather is pleasant. Don't miss the hot springs, the local market, and the various museums in the area.

Actually, the town is beautiful and has a variety of places to visit. Very interesting. What I liked least was that many streets need repair, and there are too many stray dogs. I don't like arriving to eat and having dogs around the table.

A huge plus point is the location, just a short walk from the greatest concentration of facilities along the El Valle main road. The rooms are spacious and quiet. The staff are charming. In particular, I had quite a lot of dealings with Oriel and he was extremely friendly and helpful, at one point spending a couple of hours fixing a problem I had accidentally created. I want to spend a bit more time in El Valle so I will be definitiely be going back to stay here again.

I rarely give a 10. But this place is worth it.
Charles is very welcoming and friendly. He's there to advise and help but discrete as wel so you really feel home.
The house is very beautiful with stunning gardens and a lovely swimming pool area. Also very clean. The equipment of the house is incredible, I can't think at something you could need and not find. And outside you can use of the barbecue.
It's perfectly located in El Valle.

On arrival, we were told that we could not use our requested accommodation (at Hostel Lopez El Valle) because there was no electricity. The alternative arrangements made by the owner (a detached house) was sufficient to meet our needs on location and comfort, etc; and possibly at additional cost to them. But we had needs that were not met, unfortunately - see below.

Lovely helpful staff, breakfast was always delicious and different everyday. The kitchen was really well stocked with kitchenware and also spices, oil etc. which was great for cooking. The space is lovely, chilling in the hammock after a morning of hiking was the dream. The location was great too. Would 100% stay again if I was back in el valle.
