We booked the two bedroom suite and found that the pictures did not do it justice - plenty of common spaces for gathering as a group, huge deck overlooking the valley, windows everywhere providing stunning views, comfy beds and very clean. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful in booking taxis, excursions, etc.

United KingdomMarcelo was so helpful during our stay and is an all around great guy! The Palo Alto is extremely lucky to have him. The hotel has impeccably beautiful gardens and is quite serene with the sound of birds. Our room had an amazing view of Volcan Baru and we enjoyed watching as the light and weather changed up at the top. The outdoor bar provides a full lovely breakfast with friendly service and views of the river. In the evening the bar is quite romantic with a fireplace to keep you warm. We enjoyed having a drink at sunset (with Marcelo bartending) and then relaxing in the hot tub after a half day of hiking. The hotel far exceeded our expectations!

United StatesStunningly beautiful, welcoming and cozy spot. Our children loved the beautiful gardens full of mango and citrus trees and playing with the charismatic turkey and bunnies! We had three kids and so we got two rooms and were able to stay close together in the hotel. The staff were so warm and welcoming and helpful. Would stay here again in a heartbeat.
