It also does not have a curfew, but is safe since they have a guard roaming around the premises. Additionally, we enjoyed the dual temperature (hot and cold) option for the shower, it's convenient to use plus they have a mini fridge inside the room!

We loved our city tour esp. to the Garin Farm, Balay na Bato where we had a taste of hot choco and molo soup, visited various churches and tried the Roberto's siopao (so big that one is good for 2 persons), the famous Ilongo batchoy. We also explored Guimaras and our tour to Gigantes Islands is unforgettable esp. with the unli scallops served for lunch at the Lantangan beach.

The city is your typical large city, but not as busy as Manila. We did only a few tourist things, mostly there for the shopping, SM mall with ACE Hardware were across the street worked well to get supplies needed in the provence.
We had the most excellent seafood dinner at the Iloilo Seafood Port. The ramen house next to motel needed to use authentic Japanese noodles, looks like they were using pancit cantone style of noodles, but the food was still delishous and generous.

A good place to stay and visit the nearby island of Guimaras, or do a day trip to Miag-ao. It’s a city where people are very friendly and accommodating, ready smiles, and safe to walk around. Discover the ilonggo dishes and you won’t be disappointed.

there’s no breakfast, not even a coffee or tea because the place has no electric kettle to make tea even, no fridge in the room as standards in hotels. I like the fact that it’s in the city centre and you can walk to eateries and restaurants easily. But the front street is where the wet market is, so if you like to buy fresh vegetables, it’s nice. But there’s no facilities in the hotel to cook your food.

We had the most pleasant stay at GT Hotel Jaro.
Location and transportation was easy. The rooms
were spacious and the beddings were clean. They
also were nice enough to fulfill a lot of our requests
and even got an upgrade for the room. Overall, we
