SwedenWe were met by great, proffesional, english speaking and happy staff. Booked the cheapest we could find ii the area same night and didnt expect much.. boy were we wrong! We were so extremely pleased with the whole expiriance that this will be our to go to place! The rooms were gigantic, emmaculate and fresh. Great view from big balcony, super fresh bathrooms and loads of extra thoughtful detail in the rooms! Very nice and scilent area even though there is bar and games at the loby floor. We also bought breakfast in the morning and were really, really pleased with the variety on the table. They also have private parking which was perfect as we were carrying quite some important stuff in the car.
For us it was a spontanious booking, 15 min before arrival, and it was the absolute best expiriance we had so far in poland! The staff in the bar was also great fun, really had a blast!
Will definitly come back when opportunity strikes. Thank you 😊

On Saturday and Sundays there is free parking in the cities center, lots of restaurants. When visiting Jasna Gora be in time, the parking is nearby but it can be very busy meaning you'll have to walk a substantial distance. Overall a very nice and clean place with lots of restaurants (good food).

Ally and all the fountains and iron sculptures interesting.
If there is need for adventure, then can visit abondaned Miniature park. Also it's very easy to travel to nearby villages to see castles, they were amazing.

I know city well , recently come back but city became quiet over the years . Plenty of good restaurants , cafes and bars in close center .Big Jasna Gora church worth to visit. Three indoor swimming pools in city, big shopping centre called Galeria Jurajska . Good transport around and cheap taxis .

Its a religious trip for most but man, dude, I think the rest of the city needs some revitalization. If you are not there to see the church bs then that place is a bit depressing if Im honest. Some real investment opportunities but I think it would need some real help getting the darker interests out first.

Apparently the church next to the hotel is an important place for religious people to visit. We were only passing through and stayed for one night - it was winter, dark and wet and the town didn't look very appealing. There are two completely different worlds: The modern luxurious hotel (Arche) and the old run-down Soviet Union style town. The town looked dismal with terrible roads full of huge waterlogged potholes. Maybe the town is a better place in summer. Hotel Arche is an excellent hotel though.

We went to see the church with the Black Madonna.
We went to see the church with the Black Madonna. It was a long walk from the hotel but I guess that is part of the ritual. The park by the church is very nice and you can spend an afternoon there. We dined at two local restaurants and the food was both tasty and a good value

It is funny there are TWO buildings with the same address, situated 100m from each other, so our navigator led us to the wrong building (it didn't find 'hotel Sonex' by name and by entering the address we were brought to the private 4-story building).
It was just an overnight stay on the way to Slovenia, so we didn't explore the neighborhood.
The breakfast was typically Polish, with many pickled dishes (cucumbers, mushroom, etc.), however, without porridge - overall ok, nothing to complain about.
