We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this hotel! From the moment we arrived, the service at the front desk was exceptional—especially Raphael, who went above and beyond to make sure our experience was perfect. Every staff member we encountered was friendly, courteous, and eager to help.
We stayed in the suite (room 409), and it was stunning—beautifully decorated, spacious, and impeccably clean. The pool and pool deck were also a highlight: relaxing, well-maintained, and perfect for unwinding after a day at the beach.
The hotel’s location couldn’t have been better—just a short walk to the beach and boardwalk, with plenty of restaurants and attractions nearby.
We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a memorable and comfortable stay. Thank you to the entire team for such a fantastic experience!

BrazilI got room 101, very spacious, large and comfy bed, big wardrobe with a safe, extra pillows and soft duvets, there's a mini fridge and nice bathtub. My room had an extra large balcony with direct sunlight all day long. Breakfast was excellent, just what you expect from a nice hotel, with scrambled and boiled eggs, ham and cheese, bacon and sausages, different kinds of bread and yogurt, options of coffee and tea, many fruit varieties... I stayed there for 1 whole hour hahahah Definitely recommend it and would come back for another stay!

The room was pretty small, but we had a terrace, and most incredible- a shared space in the back yard, wish dishes where we could bring, heat and eat our own food (from a restaurant for example). Like a private bar or breakfast place!!!

There were two issues that were not quite good.
There were two issues that were not quite good. One, the air conditioning was not working properly; one night it was too cold and the other 6 nights it did not work at all. Secondly, the shower was very slippery. I almost fell and slightly hurt my foot trying to prevent a fall.
Other than that, everything else was extraordinary.

Estoril is a beautiful area, so well cared for and just a delight to experience. The town itself is stunning, buzzy and many areas to visit. The beaches are sandy, clean and so many areas to park. Cascais is definitely worth visiting.

Estoril is ideal for singles, couples and families who want a relaxing break away. There are plenty of hotels, bars, cafes and restaurants but there isn’t a specific area or ‘strip’ of these, they are just dotted around. The casino and its garden are a dominant and attractive focal point so there are a few places near to it. There’s Portuguese food, of course, but also Italian, Chinese, Indian and Japanese. You can get fish and seafood dishes of any sort but there’s also lots of steak on offer. Prices are very reasonable.
Some people travel in and out of the town specifically and solely to use the beach by day or the casino by night, some to attend events at the glamorous looking fort on the beach, so the town isn’t dead but it can feel quiet at certain times. It’s definitely a chilled out place to stay in. There are only a few local shops for groceries and not really any souvenir shops. In my opinion, it has more of a local, residential vibe and isn’t touristy.
For a change of scene, by train Cascais is just a 5 minute ride away or Lisbon is about 40 minutes away. It’s great to visit either and then escape the crowds by returning to Estoril! There is currently a replacement bus service in operation after 9pm (not sure how easy that is to use) but at other times the trains are very frequent and inexpensive.

I wouldnt particularly recommend Estoril as a holiday destination. It is a residential area full of expensive houses and flats and a couple of big hotels. There is no centre or focal point to the town. The only draw seems to be the casino. There are no shops apart from a supermarket and newsagent and an expensive dress shop. ALthough there are restaurants dotted around the residential streets they dont feel very holidayish.
If you are just using Estoril as a base to tour around the area then it will be fine but I would recommend staying in Cascais if you want a holiday resort with a holiday vibe and all the facilities.

Nicely decorated and lovely old history of Estoril. Enjoyed the sunroom / breakfast area and watched a lovely morning rain storm pass through. Love the honor bar system.

The hotel is super great: modern and beautiful, comfortable room, good facilities, nice people.
Breakfast was good, rooftop bar and rooftop pool with a nice view. Never had to wait for an elevator for more than 10 seconds - how is it even possible?:)
But the things I liked the most was the shower in the room (it was so perfect!) and the indoor pool, steamroom and sauna. The sauna has glass wall so you can see the ocean being in there as well.
All in all, when will be back to Portugal will choose Evolution hotel again. Highly recommended!

Had a fab time at Hotel Londres Estoril. Hotel Beds comfortable, nice little Swimming Pool, the staff are lovely with special thanks to Raphael trying (unsuccessfully) to teach us some more Portuguese 🤣. It’s also near the Train Station.
