PortugalI loved the direct sea view and terrase towards the Atlantic Ocean. They are worth to pay a little bit more. The colours in the room were in good harmony. The location was on the hotel street "Praia da Rocha" in the city of Portimao. The huge fine sand beach is very near, just to step stairs down from the street.
The hotel JUPITER has also a large swimming pool.
The breakfast at the large restaurant was fantastic with lots of fresh choice of healthy food and even with a glass of champagne to choose.
The Xmas Party of 50 persons was in the evening including a buffet dinner with good food of many choices.
The service of drinks was quick and polite.
The personnel at the reception were very friendly and welcoming. I will definitely recommend JUPITER HOTEL to my friends visiting Algarve, Portugal. In autumn the prices are very reasonable, and often the weather is good here.

Too short a visit to give a definitive answer as attending athletics event and not enough to explore, however liked what we saw. Had a superb meal at Namaste India Tandoori Restaurant in direction of Praia de Rocha. Without personal transport Uber was ideal.

Amazing how most people have patience for strangers to go out of their way to help guide us in every day tasks and with smiles. I am truly grateful for the Portuguese people I met in my life. Experience will have to take with me for ever. The life styles while here were so different and amazing. What a gift to have experienced looking forward to come back again. Thank you for sharing.

Lots of restaurants, but we preferred to cater for our selves with fresh fruit, veg. and meat. Small shops were sparse to purchase these food ingredients but internet research revealed a couple within 15 min. walk. Public transport use for larger supermarkets and access to the cliff top areas if you want to avoid the steps. Daily bus tickets are available to use on any local route.

Amazing beach’s avoid town center even if close to beautiful beaches that are stunning memories of true Algarve but the city itself is very poor , ugly and just a nonsense buildings old to new mixed with no likely or history and cultural care. Outside town center beautiful views , walks and beach’s .

A lovely town about an hours drive from Porto airport: a good base to explore further into the algarve (and the west coast). But it’s also a charming place that manages to expertly balance a sense of its history with the need to cater to tourists. I loved it!

We had an amazing stay at Turim Presidente Hotel. It’s place in a pretty quiet area, but at the same time close to nearby beaches, shops & restaurants. We’ve had a really nice room with view to the pool and the sea which we totally loved. Breakfast was very good, plenty of choice for everyone. Would totally recomend and would stay here again if back in the area. Portimao is also in the middle of Algarve and you can easily have daytrips around. We chose Zoomarine which was fantastic!

The property was stunning, very clean and the views were amazing. The fact that we had two balconies that we could relax on combined with the sunning views of the algarve coastline was simply unparalleled. For the price I am amazed by how good of a deal this was.
Mike from ‘Top Ocean View Portimao’ was so kind, welcoming and attentive throughout our whole stay, and I cannot recommend staying here enough. I would love to come back the next time I visit Portimao.

The hotel has an excellent location, very close to the beach and attractions.
The cleanliness was top-notch, and all services I needed were available.
The pool and beach area were great, the room was spacious, and the bathroom was very comfortable — I especially appreciated the bidet next to the toilet, which was a very convenient feature.
The air conditioning worked perfectly and kept the room pleasantly cool, making the stay even more relaxing.

The reception staff were exceptional – always welcoming us with a smile, kind, and ready to help with anything we needed. We felt genuinely cared for and very comfortable during our stay.
