United StatesCheck-in was smooth, but make sure to check your messages before arriving to provide an ETA of arrival. The room was clean and modern in feel. Bedding soft, sheets/towels clean. There's an area to relax with comfortable chairs downstairs. I was provided with a place to put my bicycle, and it felt secure. Breakfast was a full spread of eggs, ham, multiple breads, cake, jams, etc. Overall, I highly recommend if in Trancoso!

AustraliaFriendly welcoming owner, offering an excellent value for money stay in this beautiful interior tile-lined passage hotel leading to rooms named after a building of historical significance in the town, also sweeties in little bowls dotted around the hotel was a nice touch. The owners understand the needs of walkers/cyclists. The room was comfortable, yet small (as advertised). The breakfast room looked very inviting but with service starting at 8am & wanting to make an early start, we were offered a takeaway picnic breakfast which we gratefully accepted. Tourism info on offer & recommendations for places to eat. The accommodation is only a 5min walk from the old town centre. Would have loved to stay longer.
