    The city is being reborn from inside out.

    The city is being reborn from inside out. Many old buildings have been restored to their original glory. Many are under restoration projects. Same for historical buildings, churches and cultural landmarks. You can see, feel and touch history that goes back over 2,000 years... and feel safe and welcomed. Worth the time and expense to stay a couple weeks here.

    It was my first time visiting Timișoara, and I really enjoyed the city centre — perhaps the leaders in Bucharest could take some inspiration. The streets I walked along had plenty of green spaces and beautiful houses, but unfortunately, many parks seem neglected. I wanted to visit the Hunyad Museum, but it is permanently closed; it would help to mention the reason in its description. The Museum of the Communist Consumer was not quite what I expected — perhaps because it’s a private initiative — but it deserves more attention, as I saw tourists coming specifically for it. The Iron Bridge is also just a point on the tourist map, yet it’s in disrepair and unkempt. Overall, I hope more attention will be given to all tourist attractions, not just the city centre.

    Timisoara is a beautiful, charming town with interesting architecture and buildings, the three squares in a row are so wide and amazing, there are many nice cafes, restaurants with all kinds of international foods, many tourists, music and other festivals, it is one of the main cultural hubs in this part of Eastern Europe

    The favorite spots are the Cathedral and Bega river.

    The favorite spots are the Cathedral and Bega river. We ate at the 700 brewery, but we weren't very satisfied with the service and the quality of the food. It is easy to get to the Timisoara city by car. We enjoied one pleasant trip on the Bega river.

    Timisoara people are kind, friendly people.

    Timisoara people are kind, friendly people. The food is good, and the prices are moderate. Occasionally, there is the noise of motorbikes or quads on the major city streets, but this is rare. However, the deafening sound of the bells that come during Sunday mass from the bell tower of the Metropolitan Cathedral "Sfinții Trei Ierarhi" is breathtaking.

    Timișoara is a charming little city, perfect for a relaxed weekend getaway. The historical center is a pedestrian zone filled with cozy cafés and small restaurants, creating a very pleasant and laid-back atmosphere. It’s just the right size to explore at an easy pace, and it offers a lovely mix of history, culture, and leisure.

    We liked, literally everything. This has been our second time in the Savoy Hotel and it will be our choice for the next visit to Timisoara. The staff is very kind reliable, helpful, the room clean and comfortable, specially bed, bathroom clean and big with everything needed and breakfast delicious with good variety of food. We had a place in the garage for our car. A quiet hotel next to the river and less than 10 minutes walk from the Opera house.

    Little stylish hotel on the outskirts of Timişoara, a good place to stay for the night when you are on your way. Well-furnished rooms, comfortable beds, 3 parking spaces in front of the hotel door, as well as private parking about 100 meters away. Breakfast is made with love, in-house prepared snacks and spreads. Quiet and relaxing music plays during breakfast, setting a good mood for the next of the day. Helpful and friendly staff.

    This is not a luxury hotel and perhaps a little dated, but it has everything needed for a great price and for a comfortable stay in Timisoara. The rooms are spacious, the personal is nice, the breakfast is very good and the location is okay.
