The landscape along the drive was phenominal.
Al-Ula as a city was enjoyable with friends and family although it is recommended to visit the city during winters rather than during the summers. Hotels might be expensive so plan & book atleast 2 - 3 months in advance.
UNSECO Sites were well maintained, explained and well within the traveling distance. Easy to access and the staff at the visitor centers were friendly and helpfule. They were patiently answering all my queries.
Some of the restaurants mentioned on Al-Ula website are a must try although they might be expensive. The ambience and staff performance was excellent. Food was tasty and mouth watering.

. All was great there was not much activities to do rather than just a lot of sightseeing. I think it’s because we went in the off-season. There would be much more activities and fun stuff to do when you go in the season that starts in late October early December.

The ambience of this city is unique.
The ambience of this city is unique. You probably haven't seen anything like it. Neat, quiet, clean city surrounded by rocky mountains. Lots of historical places to visit - elephant rock, old town, moraya, Hegra, all amazing, picturesque places, like from a storybook.
I travelled for a marathon and the route was breath-taking.

AlUla is truly a remarkable destination. I fell in love with its breathtaking natural beauty and the warmth of its people. From the ancient wonders of Hegra to the stunning rock formations and the charm of the Old Town, AlUla offers a unique and unforgettable experience.
In my opinion, two days are just right to explore this magical place at a comfortable pace.

Good, highly controlled and monitored, will slowly become less natural and more commercial, like Bali, it will become a tourist trap and locals will hate it. Right now it is good, but give it a few more years.

The staff waited for us to check in even though we arrived after the time indicated on the reservation. The room was very large. The hotel is located in a beautiful location, far from the town center (about 10/15km) but very beautiful from a naturalistic point of view and far from the chaos of Al Ula. The hotel has an orchard from which you can pick fruits in the morning for breakfast.

The hotel does not have restaurant. And we cannot find any restaurants near the hotel. Since al ula is not a city where you can get uber/taxis easily except for tourist vehicles. it had been difficult for us.
