Hassleholm itself is very ordinary, but it makes a good base...

Hassleholm itself is very ordinary, but it makes a good base for visiting other places. Lots of places to get to on the train, but even better if you have a car. My main reason for visiting was to see family, I don’t think I would have thought of staying there otherwise. I’ll certainly stay there again.

The city felt dead, got there around 1 pm, no life in the city, it was still Saturday. There is no pastry shop that was open. There is no grocery store in the city center. Nice hotel that we stayed at, Statt, Nice bar near the hotel that was open. Häsleholm itself felt like the city that God forgot.

Stayed one night on a transit during my cycling holiday. Hässleholm is the center of the inter world and not so charming, but quite nice and you will find both shops and restaurants if you want a bite to eat. The nature around is nice, with many excursion destinations.

The last weekend in May every year, the "Power Start of...

The last weekend in May every year, the "Power Start of Summer Meet" is organized by ACCS. In other words, all of us who like Jänkare get together - old or new cars don't matter. About 3,500 cars came this year! Cruising in the evening is also offered! Very nice, and fairly sober, event overall!!

The purpose of our trip was to hike "around Finjasjön".

The purpose of our trip was to hike "around Finjasjön". Worked well with the bus to Sjörröd tor. Would have liked more toilets scattered around the lake (few opportunities to visit the forest in private) and rest areas as the few later ones were busy. Everything is focused around Hovdala and its swimming area. Around Finjasjön was fantastic with lots of greenery and wonderful birdsong!

Hässleholmsgårdens Vandrarhem is a great place to stay! It's nicely located, very clean and everything you could wish for is there, even a sauna. Camilla really went out of her way to make my stay even greater than it already was (for example by searching for (and finding!) a place to rent a bike). Definitely would recommend staying here as it is a very comfortable and cozy place with a nice atmosphere.

I wasn't expecting much due to other ratings , but honestly the room we stayed in was completely fine for one night. Yes it was kinda old and some parts are definetely in need of renovation, but it was clean, the beds were comfortable and the breakfast was completely fine. Plus the staff was super friendly. So for one or two nights the hotel isn't that bad of a choice.

The whole ambiance of the hotel is good, you feel welcome. The Rooms.are clean and tidy. The restaurant is at an high leven and the breakfast is also very good. You can park under the hotel.

Top location, hotel in the nice old building with a character, plenty of space, really nice and helpful staff. Spacious and well decorated lobby and sitting area. Well equipped gym.
