Moritz was perfect on both a dinner, and a breakfast service during which we met him. Mario manned the egg station on our last breakfast and was very attentive to individual requests.
The concierge crew was among the best I've ever seen, with each and every one of them going extra miles, I wish I remembered their names, the same goes for housekeeping who set up an extra bed at 21h30 on the day of our arrival.

HungaryRoom is spacious, we were staying the 3 of us in one room and could still feel separated, also there was a longer corridor leading from the entrance door to the bedroom so you didn't realise when someone went to the bathroom early in the morning. We were up on the 5th floor enjoying the direct view not only of the seashore but also the variable birds. Terrace was also spacious. Food was really excellent, you can pick bites even if you have intolerance and they served seafood as well every day. Located in the very center.

Slovenia’s Adriatic Spa Resort
Portorož is the most popular beach resort on Slovenia’s small but undulating coastline. It was first developed as a health resort and several spas remain. The largest is the Terme & Wellness LifeClass Portorož, offering treatments using local products such as salt pan mud, seawater and thermal mineral water.
The huge complex is surrounded by some of the 4 and 5-star hotels available on Booking.com. Nearby is the Hotel Kempinski Palace, a historic property built in 1910 as a retreat for Austro-Hungarian officials. Other Portorož accommodation options include guest houses with pools and beachfront apartments.
The beaches are of course why most people come. The main, sandy beach is awash with colourful parasols in summer, while offshore watersports include diving and water skiing. Boat trips from the marina sail along the coast and even to Venice and Trieste in Italy.
As the temperature cools down, the nightlife heats up as people start hitting the bars and clubs. Several casinos also provide another way to spend some time…and money, and there are also relaxed restaurants where you can enjoy the sunset.
Portorož Airport is just south of the city and in the opposite direction is Piran whose Venetian old town spread over a promontory provides a more cultural offering.

Portoroz is a nice city directly at the sea. A nice market place in the inner city with many nice shops, restaurants, bars. Stroll around the small streets and discover unexpected places.
There are many things you may do.
But take your time, sit down and watch the scenery.

There are no nice beaches here, the coast is just a pile of concrete. Entering the sea without shoes in the water is quite unpleasant.

All was great and nearby. The prices are regular, even on beach restaurants by the sea was not so bad if we compare it to for instatnce Croatia. In supermarkets you buy all you need. First time in Portoroz, but definitely not the last.

Portorož is a great destination for a mid-winter holiday. There are plenty of interesting walks, like along the beach promenade, and excellent restaurants close to the hotel we stayed at (the Boutique Hotel). Every place we went to was very pet-friendly.

Clean rooms and public areas. Large room and bathroom, large balcony, comfy bed, enough space for cloths and belongings. Underground garage for 20€ a day (ticket fee) but hotel front desk has discount cards for 13€ daily parking if available. Large selection of food, fruits for breakfast. In a silent area but yet close to main road, easy walk to the promenade of Portoroz. Bus stop is near, en route to Piran. Nice and helpful staff.

Great hotel in a great location. Perfect for family stay, if you like to relax or if you like to discover the area. Pool area is expectational and the seacoast is 2-3 minutes walk. Very friendly and helpful staff.
