Trinidad and TobagoService was exceptional. As a female solo traveller I would say Sint Maarten is the place to go and Commodore Suites is the place to stay. Farida and the rest of the crew there were amazing. Best advice and so close to the beach ⛱️. Karaoke on Tuesday and Thursday at the Hilton nearby. On the main street for all types of food and experiences. To say I am coming back doesn't even say it all. The experience almost makes you want to get a remote job and live there.
Free drinks mixed by Farida.....new mixes and real fun.
TV had all the apps you needed on vacation for viewing fun.
Comfy bed, great shower and the ability to wash and dry my clothes before coming back home was priceless.
Missing something? There is a grocery with EVERYTHING right downstairs.
Want a great view in a hot tub? Go upstairs.
Want to eat out? Take a 2-5 minute walk. There is also delivery.
My introduction to the country could not have been better.

United KingdomI loved EVERYTHING! The hotel itself was beautiful, clean and well presented. The room, specifically the bed was huge! The shower was fantastic.
The room was large with a great tv, bed and kitchen area with everything I needed. The bathroom was a good size and the shower had to heads so it was like a spa. The AC worked really well and I was super comfortable and slept so well. The outside area was a nice space to just sit and enjoy a coffee.
The pool was fantastic. Great size and warm even at 5pm! There was also another pool down by the beach. You couldn’t really use the beach for swimming due to the rocks but this really didn’t matter at all as there are so many amazing beaches close to the hotel.
The location was superb! Loads of restaurants and shops close.
And what topped it all off was the staff!! They were brilliant 🤩 helpful, happy and friendly…. They organised trips and a car for me. Always asked how I was, were interested in me and my day.
Out of all the places I’ve toured in the Caribbean so far this location and hotel was my favourite! I truly loved it and can’t wait to got back.
I also felt it was fantastic value for money, really reasonable price for what you got and the service they proved.

Loved the hotel.
Loved the hotel. Room was a nice size and came with a kitchenette, beds comfy abd the shower was hot. Centrally located so you have access to everything you need, plenty of restaurants on and near the property. Pool and gym access. Scenic views of the bay. Do the city tour… so you can get a snapshot of the island… eat at the local eateries..,they’re the best. Revial has THE best breakfast, Buccaneers and Shoreline (hole in the wall but the most authentic food) the beaches are gorgeous enjoy as many as you can. You can also take a ferry to nearby Anguilla and St Barts

There were many places to eat but our favorite spot was The Captains Rib Shack. The food was delicious and there was a wide variety. There was easy access to buses which was our mode of transport. We stayed on the Dutch side but took the bus to the French side, Bus fare is $2.00 to Philipsburg and $1.50 to Maho. I strongly recommend Maho Beach where the planes fly low overhead to land. It was an awesome experience.

The staff was at best "surly".
The staff was at best "surly". The front desk staff acted like they were doing us a favor by talking to us. Same with the staff at the "restaurant", which was hardly what I would call a restaurant. We were not given the type of room (oceanfront) that I had pre-booked and paid for. Instead of ocean-front we were given a room with a view of the parking lot, about as far away from the beach as you can get. We were not advised of the room change, and when we were escorted to the room and called the front desk they gave us nothing but the run-around. We had already waited over 5 hours to get the room in the pouring rain and wind as there were no places to sit inside. We got absolutely drenched and the staff didn't seem to care. I would give high marks for the location, negative marks for the staff.

Great location!
Great location! Walking distance to everything I needed ( great eating places, supermarket). Lots of space for car rental parking. The beachfront was a bit stony ( in water) but nothing that a pair of crocs couldn’t address. Pool size with swim up bar was brilliant.

Comfortable room. Great amenities. Housekeeping everyday! Pool literally outside our room. Great patio with great seating. We played cards on the table on the patio while it rained and saw a beautiful rainbow. So close to the grocery store. Walked to many restaurants.

Excellent infinity pool area, really liked the way it resembled walking into the sea. Rooms were great, decent coffee machine and a fridge. Nice shower. Staff very helpful, attentive and friendly. Very close to Maho Beach and not far from Simpson Bay beach. Shuttle to/from airport.

Location- proximity to the airport and hotel was right above supermarket with hot meals and by restaurants. Had to stay overnight because American Airlines cancelled our flight and the hotel worked out perfectly for us for the unexpected overnight stay.
