GermanyWhat an amazing stay! The hotel is a small wonderful hotel with amazing and welcoming staff, great rooms and a nice beach. Our little one had food poisoning from another restaurant at the beach (really severe one, don’t drink smoothies with ice …) and the hotel helped us right away to organize the transport and appointment at the nearest hospital. Everyone was sooo kind in the hotel and our poolvilla was exceptional. The restaurant was delicious and reasonably priced. We will definitely come back.

Maintaining the Warmth
One can get a little nostalgic when talking about the development of Hua Hin. The first beachside resort town in Thailand was originally a small fishing village. It manages to maintain a laid-back atmosphere despite chain hotels invading the best vantage points along Hua Hin Beach.
The current King of Thailand, Bhumibol Adulyadej, spends much of his time here in the royal residence of Klai Kangwon Palace, built in 1927. The local Thai population have followed ever since as they escape the stifling heat of Bangkok.
Hin Lek Fai Hill provides the finest outlook of the bay and its 5 km-long stretch of beach. The central Hua Hin Night Market satisfies your wallet and your stomach with its mix of local souvenirs and freshly cooked seafood.
These days there is a distinctive cosmopolitan flair to the city with many restaurants and hotels purveying a European influence. It is also less hectic than Pattaya, the rival beach resort on the other side of the Bay of Thailand.
Hua Hin Airport has flights from Bangkok, and the wooden Thai-style train station is regarded as the prettiest in Thailand. The city has many hotels and resorts for families and couples and Booking.com can also accommodate you at the famous Centara Grand Beach Resort and Villas.

It´s an expat, older foreigner hangout. No real action around. Beach was not usable around years end because of very high tide limiting access to beach. Beach walks were not possible. Walking along main street is a pain.
It´s a tourist place. No real working life neighborhood like Bangkok.

Great food and beaches.
Great food and beaches. Sea is clean and food choices are great. If you want to have some time outside I recommend Baan Dum for fab food and location , Pran Buri for mangroves, monitors and real life of a fishing town.
Not great for solo travellers I’d guess unless you find fellow country folk

The best part of Hua Hin was that it was not at all touristy. There were tourists but unlike other places in this part of the world, this place is quiet, laidback. It has got all the facilities that a tourist may need. We enjoyed our time in the beach. Getting around in a Tuktuk is easy in Hua Hin. Overall it's a nice getaway from the busy Bangkok.

We didn't really venture too far, staying withing 2/3km of the hotel, and only went out for something to eat. There is certainly more to Hua Hin that we saw but we had planned this portion of the holiday for relaxing.
From what we saw the city is easy to get around (walk and taxis), plenty of options to eat and drink (especially local food) and safe. It is on the quite side but that's what we were looking.

Very nice town with plenty of things to do with many attractions. Nice beach. Many interesting restaurants and Cicada is a lovely night market with great food options and lots of local art & craft on display.

We loved Hua Hin (and are actually thinking of moving there)...
We loved Hua Hin (and are actually thinking of moving there). The beaches are lovely and there are so many services. Lots of wonderful cafes and restaurants. People are friendly, polite and very accommodating. The vibe is relaxed and chill! Also not too far from Bangkok if you want a quick trip into the "big city"!
We also had a fantastic lunch at the Let's Sea Hua Hin's Beach Resort. Amazing restaurant with wonderful dishes. We will definitely be back to stay at the resort!

Very friendly staff. Helpful and attentive. Breakfast okay. Free shuttle service make it easy to reach Hua Hin beach and Market village. Hotel is also right next to main road where Songtaews pass every 15 minutes. Pool and poolarea is pleasant. There is an excellent and cheap restaurant called 4 o'clock Steak close to hotel. Opens at 4 pm, serving swedish meatballs and wienerschnitel. Highly recommendable.

I'd highly recommend this lovely boutique hotel. 1 of the best of hundreds of hotels I've stayed in terms of value of money. The hotel has artistic modern design with details. It is Pet allowed. Staff are supper friendly. It definitely impressed me. It is very pleasant to find such an unexpected gem during our trip in Thailand. If I ever come to Hua Hin again, I'd stay here again.

This is a very cosy little hotel/resort, very close (about 1 minute's walk) to the beach. While it is close to the beach, there is not much close by, so to get to the market or closer to the center of Hua Hin, I recommend renting a scooter, which you can do from the reception. The rooms are well equipped with beach towels, a little fridge, and all the essential amenities.

Love love love this hotel! Very cute! Clean and walkable to anywhere. Very near to hua hin beach. Plenty of cute cafes and restaurants. Friendliest staff. They help us on figuring out our bus location for our next stop. Going so far to accompany us to the bus stop (its not a bus stop, just a intersection of a road, hence the confusion)
