TurkeyThis Hotel greatly exceeded my expectations despite its already high ratings. The owner was very helpful with any questions we had and was available to help book any excursions, bike rentals and taxis.
The hotel was exceptionally clean. Every day the beds were made up with a beautiful towel display on the bed.
The location was absolutely perfect, with the beach literally 2 minutes walk away. The main streets for the bars and nightlife of lamai was only 5 minutes away, and 5 minutes walk in the other direction takes you to the local night market. If you plan to spend some time in Lamai and explore the small town this location is perfect, and you dont really need to rent a bike or use any form of transport unless you plan to travel further to somewhere such as Chaweng.

OmanExcellent location. The resort is situated within all touristic services and next to famous landmark. Resort has a beautiful lanscape. Nice, clean and sandy beach. Very friendly and attentative staff. First class food and one of the best food on Lamai beach. Rooms are big and very well maintained. The GM and the Owner are very helpful and will provide with any information and service. Swimming pool is big and clean. The brekafast has a good number of variety to choose from. Room service is fast and efficient.
We tried fried ice cream for a first time- amazing! Thanks to Liu and Pun :)
Highly recomended Aura Samui!

EstoniaA wonderful place, far from the city noise and partying tourists. Nevertheless, it's only a 10-minute leisurely walk to the Lamai night market. Our room was located on the first floor near the pool. There was no smell of chlorine, the pool was clean, and they took great care of it. Water samples were taken regularly. The water in the pool felt cool, but it was even pleasant, you could refresh yourself. The hotel owner was very friendly, as was all the staff. We loved everything.

The first two times we visited Koh Samui we stayed in Bophut near Fisherman's Village. After exploring the island a little more, we came to the conclusion that Lamai was the area we preferred, The beaches were better and sandy compared to Bophut which was more of a slush/muddy fell underfoot. Lamai is so underrated, everyone talks about Chaweng which is busy & expensive. Lamai is very laid-back with a fantastic beach (especially as you head down to the Grandfather and Grandmother rocks. Lots of water activities if that's your thing, or just find a free sunbed & enjoy cheap cocktails and snacks on the beach. Great shopping on the main drag and lots of options for massage, food and drinks. Friendly people too. Samui Namaste is a beautiful Indian restaurant and the Bamboo Bar down on the beach is the best for great service, food and drinks - all reasonably priced.
