La marsa beach was right outside our guest house. We could walk to the main part of the beach and the shops and restaurants. We were out of season, visiting during Ramadan so it was relatively quiet. Some restaurants were not open at all, some only during the day, others only at night. We managed to find somewhere to eat every day. I can recommend the Cliff restaurant, Pasta mi Basta (very accommodating with our friend who had various intolerances), Kenko food bar and Blu Blu (Sidi Bou). Very clean and beautiful house. Esma and son were accommodating hosts. We were expecting a hotel rather than a B&B. Bed had partial walls on both sides with shelves so easy to bump head or body. Breakfast was the same both days—Tasty and fresh but nothing memorable. Several restaurants within 5 minutes walk. Bakery as well. The hotel is less than 15 minutes from a large beach, and within easy reach of Sidi Bou Said and Carthage. The hotel premises are wonderful and the rooms very spacious and clean. Hedi was very kind, helpful and makes a killer shakshuka!
