Cosy little place near Jambiani beach. The place itself is wonderful for a few relaxed days. Hakuna Matata but with attention to details and focus on the client's needs. Most wonderful hosts, always very attentive and super sympathetic. Rooms are so boutique and so well maintained, facing this blue pool where we spent an amazing time. As we did at the restaurant where chef Simon creates the most delicious food, using local stuff and giving it an Italian tasteful twist. Nice experience. Marisa and Simon are the soul of this place which we totally recommend. The beach has its beauty on low tide... on high tide may not be the most beautiful beach of this amazing Island. 😍

Villa Juliana is a little gem and was perfect for us after a 10 day safari in Tanzania. The location is amazing, right on a beautiful beach, the room was spacious and clean, and the staff were friendly and helpful. We could not have asked for more. They went out of their way to make our stay a happy one and always had a big smile. Another lovely aspect was that the manager let us have the room until late at no additional cost, as we had a night flight. This was hugely appreciated and made our 42 hour travel back to NZ so much easier. Our only upset with Villa Juliana was that we had to leave! We would have liked to stay longer :-)

First off, The Spot is a really nice and relaxing place for a vacation in Zanzibar: excellent location right on the beach, quiet place, very clean, awesome food and really nice pool, plus one can see it's being continuously upgraded and rennovated. There's ac, a ceiling fan (even though sleeping with an open window, lulled by the sound of the ocean is something magical, I recommend giving it a go) a mini fridge, a full fresh bottle of water every day and a bed mosquito net in every room. But what's really amazing about this place, are Roberto and Valentina, the managers. These big hearted people really know how to do their job, they are extremely helpful and respectful and will really go out of their way to make you feel home and solve every problem or inconvenience you might experience during your stay, may that be a medical need, a food allergy (they took perfect care of a celiac kid's need without batting an eye), transportation, tour arrangements or simply a food preference (they offer delicious vegetarian/vegan alternatives if you let them know a little in advance); you just have to ask. I've been traveling a lot but rarely encoutered people so good at their job with a real genuine passion for it. Local staff is nice, professional and polite. Before booking I read other reviews and saw some (very few actually) pointing out various "faults" of this place but quite frankly, I found them to be utterly pretentious and snobbish: Zanzibar is an east african island: there's a language and cultural barrier, the occasional power outage (by the way, The Spot has a power generator that kicks in during these occurrences) and there is no ultra high speed internet access (again, the spot has a pretty decent internet access) so if you expect a ultra luxury experience, maybe Zanzibar is not the right place for you.

Wonderful Vacation Days in a Great Accommodation I had the pleasure of spending a fantastic vacation here. The accommodation was not only beautifully located but also very clean. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful – I felt welcome from the very beginning. Whenever I had questions, both the owner and the staff were always there to assist me. The location was simply perfect! There were many restaurants and bars nearby, and the hotel is right by the sea – ideal for daily swimming and relaxing. The food was another highlight: freshly prepared every day and absolutely delicious. What I especially loved is that this accommodation is perfect for everyone – whether you’re traveling as a family, solo, or with friends, you’ll feel right at home. The rooms are also aesthetically designed and very cozy. Another great aspect was the help with planning daily excursions. The host assisted me in organizing my day, and everything was arranged professionally and smoothly. I felt completely comfortable and can highly recommend this accommodation!

A peaceful and welcoming town with a strong sense of community and a safe, relaxing atmosphere. We stayed in a peaceful part of town, where there were noticeably fewer street vendors selling beads and souvenirs compared to other areas. This made the atmosphere even more calm and relaxing, allowing us to fully enjoy the local charm without feeling overwhelmed.

Its a remote beach far away from the airport, it took me 1:30 hours to reach, and with a late flight u reach a gost city, no place to buy a sim card, to exchaeg money, taxi drivers are like sharks, the road is narrow, not lit, not fully paved, my old taxi driver did an accident, the beaches are amazing, great white sands, cool lovely waters, but tides are very low and high over the same day. 50 meters away from the beach and you are out of the paradise into a nondeveloped village, prices are as high as euorpe and the service quality is almost nil.

Everything was great. The hotel is beautiful, new and comfortable. The beach is just across another partner hotel next door and the pool is beautiful and clean. The staff, especially Vuai, went above and beyond to make sure our stay was great and breakfast was very generous and delicious with heaps of different items and different fresh juice every day. Jambiani beach is beautiful, calm and much better and cleaner than Paje and try north of the island. This place is a little gem, highly recommended.

Location is 10! Staff is 10! Breakfast is 10! The staff will go over and beyond to make you comfortable and have an enjoyable stay. This is Zanzibar and everything is Pole Pole! You cannot come here and be unhappy when you wake up to the sound of the waves of the Indian Ocean or see the beautiful blue beach of Jambiani. The pool was clean and blue! There were enough sun loungers. Special thanks to Jonas and Mabula. You are both doing a wonderful job managing the resort. Keep up the good work.

Our stay at Passion was amazing! The staff is so sweet and friendly, and takes such good care of you. We ate all meals at the hotel because the quality and variation was great. The area both inside and outside the hotel property is fantastic, with the beach just outside the door step. Would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone going to Zanzibar! Hope to be back here one day😍

This hotel is a hidden gem in Jambiani. The staff went the extra mile with us. They were very friendly and attentive. We felt at home during our stay. We were lucky to be the only guests due to low season so we could enjoy the swimming pool and the beach by ourselves. The food is quite good and the location is great! Highly recommended!
