IsraelAmazing stay! First stop in mainland Tanzania and was just spectacular. Mille took care of all of our needs, cars, trips even my husband's dairy free birthday cake. Food was vegan/vegetarian and delicious at a fair price. Wifi worked great. Had a generator so that even when the power went out it came back on almost immediately.

United StatesI absolutely loved everything here and would 100% rebook when I come back to Tanzania. Tulivu is situated in a quiet area surrounded by the most beautiful gardening work. Tropical plants are every where you turn, and provide such a serene atmosphere for a peaceful and lovely stay. This was the best accommodation I had in Moshi and even wanted to stay longer!
The rooms are thoughtfully decorated, clean, and spacious. The bed was incredibly comfortable for me (I tend to like more firm beds, and this was it!). The pool provided a nice respite from the hot afternoons. Breakfast was great - plenty of options from fruit, pancakes, bread, hot options (vegetables, potatoes, cassava, etc.), made to order eggs, and chia seed pudding.
Staff is very friendly and super helpful with anything you need. They can help arrange day trips/activities as well as transport around town.
What a perfect stay here, truly 10/10. Can't wait to come back!!

The hotel manager, Digna Mwacha, provided exceptional service. She was incredibly responsive even before we arrived—coordinating our transport and making sure everything ran smoothly when our flight was delayed. She ensured our group had clean, comfortable rooms with a private soaking pool, which was a wonderful touch.
One of the most meaningful parts of our stay was a school visit that Digna helped us arrange. We brought donations and got to see an incredible program supporting local moms and kids. It was truly impactful.
We also had a traditional dance performance that we had planned in advance—it was fantastic! The energy was so fun, and we even joined in. Such a joyful way to spend the evening. And the pizza from the restaurant? So good!

Rafiki Supermarkets have a great selection of items. Waterforlife statue at round about on the main road.
