United KingdomLoved everything about this place! The staff were so welcoming and really make you feel like special guests! Elizabeth at checkin and all the kitchen staff were wonderful and so kind - they really made us feel so welcome and at home.
We stayed at this hotel to celebrate my husband's birthday. Elizabeth helped me arrange a reservation at The Rock restaurant, transport, flower decorations and also arranged a surprise cake with singing at our evening meal. This made the day so memorable and we had so fun.
The rooms looks just like the photos. Our room was spacious and clean. The housekeeping visited twice a day. In the mornings they would clean the room and make the beds. In the evening they would untuck the covers and get the bed ready for sleeping in - these little touches were very much appreciated.
We enjoyed the swahili night on one of ours stays. The food otherwise was excellent. The breakfast was very good especially the pancakes made to order! We had booked a half-board stay (breakfast and dinner) and therefore ordered lunch on the room tab. The lunch menu can be a little limited but was priced okay and was tasty.
During our stay we enjoyed a full body massage. The spa is basic - just one room in an area by the swimming pool. Although the setting didn't feel like a typical spa, the massage was very relaxing.
Unfortunately the hotel was fully booked on the day of our check out and therefore late check out was not available. Despite this, the staff at the hotel made great efforts to maintain their excellent hospitality by ensuring we were comfortable until the evening (when we had to depart for the airport). We were offered fruits and drinks after we checked out. All the staff members were aware of our departure and were very kind up until our departure. We managed to enjoy the Christmas Eve Party just before our departure!
Paje is a 25 minute walk away. Kayaking and paddle boarding also available with the hotel

The beach is beautiful and the water very warm.
The beach is beautiful and the water very warm. Because of the strong tides there's only water in the morning and the afternoon but it makes the beach very interesting and beautiful and gives the oportunity to walk far out and find seashells and starfish.
The only downside to the beach is the many very insisting sellers who make it impossible to go for a walk without being approached.

The only downside is that the beach is in the shade by 16:30 and very high and low tides makes taking a dip complicated !

It was a great experience staying in Tikibeach resort.To start with the hotel setting, it was perfect, next to the beach,the pool next to beach was perfect. Rooms are massive and clean, and bathrooms were neat.They take good care of hygiene, which is really good.
Staff members were super kind and always ready to help.
Need to mention the names like Ramazan,Bhutan, and Salehi.
Overall, the stay there was great. If I get a chance, I would definitely come and see them again in Zanzibar.

It was one of the most relaxing experiences we've had in Zanzibar. The room was spotless, with modern furniture, a large comfortable bed, quiet A/C, and a spacious bathroom with great water pressure. We enjoyed beautifully presented dinners – fresh seafood, local spices, and generous portions that were full of flavor. The beach bar became our go-to spot for sunset drinks, with chill music and an unbeatable view of the Indian Ocean. Staff were kind, professional, and responsive to any request. A true hidden gem in Paje!

We spent our vacation around Zanzibar for almost 2 weeks, and The Garten Living Hotel exceeded our exception!! Everything is brand new, stylish, spotless - everyday cleaning in the room. Breakfast is amazing, specially the Lebanese cheese & Labnuh balls, and they change the breakfast on daily basis so you don't get tired of the same food. The dining in the garden at night is so romantic, you must try their burgers, as it's one of the best ever!!!

The breakfast was tasty. Beach front view of the restaurant is excellent. I spent most of my time there. Very nice staff that became friends like Adam, Mary, Janet, Ben and the whole team in general. Best view I got in my whole stay in Zanzibar. Always go for the beach view room. I could see the ocean from my bed. The best bed I slept in on my whole trip after visiting 2 other hotels.
