Peachy City of Historic Importance
Home to the world’s busiest airport and a vibrant arts scene, Atlanta has an important role in US history. The gateway to the American South, it's home to barbecue and hundreds of peach trees that make it a surprisingly green city.
Hartsfield-Jackson Airport is the main arrival point, and Booking.com has an excellent range of Atlanta hotels near the airport. However, the main sights are clustered around Downtown. Near the gold-domed Georgia State Capitol is Underground Atlanta, a shopping center at the former downtown street level.
Just north are a few hotels near Georgia Dome, a huge sports venue, and to its northeast is Centennial Olympic Park, commemorating the 1996 Olympic Games. On one edge of this park are the CNN headquarters with behind-the-scenes tours. Across the street is the New World of Coca-Cola where you can sample all their worldwide products. Next door is the massive Georgia Aquarium, the world’s largest indoor aquarium.
In the Auburn district is Martin Luther King, Jr.’s former home and church, and a museum dedicated to him and the Civil Rights movement. A few blocks south in Grant Park is the city zoo, and the Atlanta Cyclorama and museum, detailing the city’s Civil War battles.
More national history is in the Carter Center, and the former home of Margaret Mitchell, author of "Gone with the Wind.

I was in Atlanta for a Falcons game.
I was in Atlanta for a Falcons game. Even though the Falcons lost (as I anticipated) I jad a great time in the Mercedes Benz stadium - despite the slightly cool temperature. Having been to Perimeter Mall previously, It was as nice as expected and Fogo du Chao in Buckhead was as delightful as always.

I was in ATL w/family, so this was a special occasion. The stay @ the Embassy Suites Buckhead was as total disappointment. I know ATL gets a bag rep w/the traffic, homelessness and crime; yet it wouldn't be so bad if staying at a well-known hotel & your personal effects are tampered with, makes it so upsetting and validates issues and concerns in a big city.

You have an amazing team of front desk staff. They were helpful and served with kindness. When I informed one of the front desk staff that I didn't have the right charger for the American socket, she gave me one for free, which was such a beautiful act of kindness. Thank you.
My room was spacious, clean and well decorated. Clean environment and strategically located for buses (195 & 196) and train station. As well as a free shuttle service from the hotel to the airport.

The two ladies at the check in dest were awesome. I believe their name ware Jada and Chanel. I mad my reservations through booking.com and I made the arrival dates wrong. They were both awesome in correcting my mistake. Kudos to them!

The hosts, with "Tanne" as the driving force, are incredibly helpful and friendly! She creates an atmosphere that brings many returning guests. The accommodation has a cozy, homely feel and it's very convenient and quick to take the train from Westlake station into downtown Atlanta. You will not regret a stay at this hostel preferred also as a short stay for i.e. flight attendants working for transatlantic airlines who we met.

The room was as described. The hotel was close to my conference and accessible to other areas of downtown, making it convenient to have meetings. The hotel made accommodations for the lack of elevators by allowing people to use the service elevators.
