The facilities at Harrah's Cherokee were truly first class. The resort itself was beautifully designed and maintained, with a luxurious atmosphere that made me feel like a VIP. The attention to detail in every aspect of the resort was evident, from the elegant decor to the impeccable cleanliness.
The bedroom I stayed in was spacious and comfortable, offering a great size that allowed me to relax and unwind after a long day of activities. The bed was incredibly comfortable, ensuring a restful night's sleep. I appreciated the thoughtful amenities provided in the room, which added to the overall convenience and comfort of my stay.
One of the highlights of my experience at Harrah's Cherokee was the wide range of things to do and see. Whether it was trying my luck at the casino, enjoying a delicious meal at one of the on-site restaurants, or taking in the live entertainment, there was never a dull moment. The resort truly offered something for everyone, and I appreciated the variety of options available.
Overall, my stay at Harrah's Cherokee Casino Resort was exceptional. The outstanding staff, first-class facilities, and spacious bedroom all contributed to a truly memorable experience. I was at Cherokee for the Cherokee Invitational Basketball tournament. The tournament was held inside the gym at Harrah's hotel and Casino. The affordable Fairfield Inn was directly across the street from Harrah's, so we had the convenience and ambiance of the restaurants in Harrah's and an affordable hotel option so conveniently located.

Granny's Kitchen is, by far, the best restaurant in Cherokee. Best buffet ever and served a Thanksgiving buffet also with patrons lined up outside. Good shops and mostly convenient to all the activities.

There are some great places to eat.
There are some great places to eat. In the summer months there is the beautiful Oconaluftee Island Park with towering bamboo trails to walk. You are a short distance from Mingo Falls, though it’s a little challenging, it’s worth the hike. Of course if you’re into games of chance, there’s Harrah’s Casino. At the right time of year you might greeted by some majestic elk. Always something to do, even if you just want a little down time.

Cherokee is a must visit for any reason, the scenery is absolutely
stunning and was surprisingly less packed than what I had figured with the time of year. The outdoor drama Unto These Hills is worth going, it was absolutely beautiful and would go back to see it again. The Branded Cattle Steakhouse and Native Brews Tap & Grill were both on hour long waits, and both menus looked great, but we were too hungry and opted for Burger King. I was with my best friend and family but would be just as great to have spent with a partner. Happy Traveling

We absolutely love floating the Ocanlufte river, the indigenous people and all the attractions. The hiking trails are amazingly beautiful and to be able to experience a close encounter with the elk is awesome! As for a great breakfast, Peter’s Pancake and Waffle House is the bomb! Sometimes you have to wait a bit but totally worth it! For dinner we usually grab a chicken dinner to go at the “All fried up” restaurant and take it back to our room to enjoy, but if you are looking for a great seafood restaurant, take a 14 mile trip to Sylvia to the Creekside Oyster house! Best seafood in N.C. In my opinion. If you enjoy hiking be sure to go to Bryson to the Deep creek hiking trails where you can see 3 different waterfalls , people tubing, and all sorts of beautiful nature all on the well maintained trails.

The heated swim pool is large and heated very well (not cold upon entering the water when it is 34 F outside). The hot tub is properly hot but not too hot. By most importantly, the water is very clean. Don’t listen to others who complains about the decorations. The pool area has no fancy new tiles, but the water is very clean! Moreover, the hotel has not many guests even if this is Oct peak foliage season for the great Smokey. My husband and I had the entire pool and the hot tub to ourselves! What a treat!

One person at the reception. We came early so the receptionist said they are cleaning our room and she will assign a room for us and I asked her to call me when the room was assigned. We went to the Casino and 45 minutes later she called and said the room is ready. We went to check in but there was a group from Cherokee School and the gentlemen who was in the reception took forever to check them in and there was a line of customers to check in.
