United StatesMy husband has Parkinson's Disease and I asked in advance for an accessible room. Upon arrival, we had already been assigned an accessible room. It was beautiful and very spacious. The breakfast was good both days. The staff was very attentive. My husband fell getting on the elevator on Wednesday, November 26th and Elena (desk clerk?) ran to his assistance and helped him to his feet. She was wonderful and very attentive and concerned.
I would definitely recommend this hotel and not hesitate to stay there again if we're ever in Chicago again.

Traveled by train for a 2-day stay to see a concert at the Aragon Ballroom. The Guesthouse Hotel was superb and within walking distance of the venue. There were many choices of restaurants in the vicinity. Travel within the city was simple using Lyft services. Downtown sidewalks were litter- and snow-free, even in the middle of winter. Highlights were seeing "the Bean" and visiting the Skydeck atop the Willis (Sears) tower.

Amazing and very clean city! Wonderful people! I love Chicago! This is a beautiful American city. The architecture is modern and great. The people are kind, polite, and open. The University of Chicago is excellent. I highly recommend Chicago for architecture, culture, music, education, fun, and living. I recommend Chicago for the Harold Washington Library and for the Newberry Library.

This was first trip to Chicago and it was much nicer than expected. I stayed in miracle mile area and it was so walkable to entertainment, riverwalk, restaurants, coffee shops, Trader Joe’s, museums. Wonderful city, weather was perfect in late October too.

Macy's is directly adjacent to the hotel and is a wonder. There are still beautiful holiday windows and a huge inventory.
Plan to walk to the Museum of Art, Chicago Cultural Societyi (free tour), and Millenium Park. There is a miniature golf course!
There are many inepensive local restaurants. You will likely need an Uber to visit some higher end places.

Chicago had never been on my travel list. I was there because I was catching the California Zephyr from Chicago to San Francisco. I didn't have any real idea of what to expect but I very quickly fell in love with Chicago. I was only there for 3 days and I wish I could have stayed longer. There is so much to see. I definitely need a much warmer jacket for my next visit.
I stayed at L7 Chicago (Lotte 7). As a solo traveller, I felt very safe walking around. All of my sightseeing was on foot. Next time I will definitely explore the L aka Chicago Loop further but there wasn't time on this trip.
I did two walking tours but would like to have done a food walking tour as well. I loved the Chicago River Walk.

We were in town to attend a rugby match.
We were in town to attend a rugby match. While we were there we did a walking ghost tour and a river boat tour. Both were great. We had great meals and there was a lot going on. We took the Blue Line train into the city and connected to the Red line to get closer to our hotel. It was easy to figure out. We bought a 3-day unlimited pass that covered the trains and buses for $15 a piece. What a bargain. There were great places to eat and a lot of activities going on. We would definitely go back for another visit.

Best hostel in Chicago ! Very cheap dormitory rooms, I was very lucky because during all my stay there was only one person with me in the room (and it was a 10 beds room). You’ll have all the accommodations you’ll need, the neighborhood is GREAT, especially to walk into. Very close to the center of the city (20 min with the red line), the subway station is 10 min away. Lots of common space that were very spacious, the dorm and bathroom were very clean, and the breakfast, very simple but a real plus.

The location is a walkable distance to anywhere you want to be in The Loop. The train station is very proximate to the hotel which provides convenience from and to the airport. The breakfast was simple but the ambience felt really nice. Best of all, the staff: Joel, Chris, and Joana were very welcoming. They were very helpful in terms of providing us with what we needed and answering whatever questions we had about the area since it was our first time in Chicago.

Great location right in the middle of downtown Chicago. Hotel was overall a bit dated, room basic but clean, breakfast was pretty awful nothing healthy other than a bowl of apples. Most of the staff were miserable and a bit rude I felt it was extremely expensive for a basic dated hotel where the staff are clearly not happy in their work. I wouldn't visit again

I had a huge suite - at no extra expense - which was delightful.
