The Cheyenne Mountain Zoo was a 20 minute ride away. It was the highlight of the stay while in Colorado Springs in addition to the wedding we came to attend. The mountain views were great depending on your room location and there were nice restaurants nearby. Gave me that small town vacation here feel you look for while relaxing.

Colorado Springs is a beautiful city with stunning mountain views and plenty of natural charm. I was impressed by how affordable gas was compared to other places I’ve traveled. However, traffic can be heavy, especially during peak hours, so plan ahead if you're commuting or exploring the area.
One downside I noticed was the airport—while it's convenient and easy to navigate, the food and drink prices were surprisingly high, even for airport standards. If you're flying in or out, it might be worth grabbing a bite before you arrive.
Overall, Colorado Springs offers a great mix of nature and city life, but be prepared for some congestion and pricey airport amenities.

We as a family come to Colorado Spring almost every year. The location to popular sites is what brings us back. Another reason for us returning so often is to visit the Flying W Rance. Great food and entertainment!

Visiting "Rita the Rock Planter" sculpture on the way. Visiting the Harden of the Gods. Yummy food options. I found the city of Colorado Springs a little boring but the surrounding area fantastic. There is an area called old Colorado Springs which we didn't get to explore, but think I might have enjoyed if I knew about it sooner.

This was our third September Vacation to Colorado Springs and to the Colorado Room With A View. This is our Anniverary week and we love our visit there because it include the Amazing Garden of the Gods, The Broadmoor, The Redrock back Country, many parks and trails, Great Restaurants, Outdoor Art, Lovely Fall Weather, with the trees turning red & yellow and a chance for some quier relaxation.

The room and the facilities were adequate. Hotel staff in general were friendly and helpful. Free breakfast was adequate. Access and parking were extremely convenient from the I25. Hotel is only a short drive to Garden of the Gods. Roads to downtown Colorado Springs were wide and uncrowded. There is a wide range of restaurants and stores in the general viscinity where one can purchase meals other than breakfast. All in all, it's a convenient property.

Nice modern hotel typical of Holiday Inn. Nice big parking lot outside hotel to park your car. Very friendly staff and fact check in. Large comfortable room with everything I needed. The view from my window was the highway but that's fine. Blackout curtains so no light or noise. Nice breakfast included. The walk to downtown is about 15 minutes no problem for me.
