As soon as you walk in you are greeted by the friendly staff no matter the time of day or night and it also smells so good down in the lobby. Loved the huge bathroom we had and everything was just very tidy. Would definitely stay again if we had to come to the Columbia area.

People were pleasant and helpful! Visit a USC basketball or USC football game for superb entertainment! The fans are very loyal, almost as loyal as UK basketball fans from Kentucky! SEC is the most entertaining league in college sports bar none!

The area where the hotel was seemed kind of ghetto. I saw a lot of loud drunks around. But I was there for my son's graduation at Fort Jackson so I really didn't have to deal with those people .

Traveling around the city was quiet simple, traffic isn't a major issue as you navigate around the city. We also found several wonderful restaurants, most being local. If you are there, try Duck's Donuts, Pawleys's Front Porch, Midwood Smokehouse, and the Juicy Crab. All were excellent locations.

It was my first visit to Columbia.
It was my first visit to Columbia. We enjoyed the Capital, Columbia Metropolitan Airport (CAE), The Riverbanks Zoo & Garden, Fort Jackson for graduation ceremony and the many restaurants. I will enjoy returning to this beautiful city very soon!!!!!

Thank goodness for WAZE road mapping.
Thank goodness for WAZE road mapping. A fair amount of major road construction taking place around the city. We missed our exit but Waze helped us navigate through our mistake. It also provided an alternate route to avoid construction on I26 right outside

As with any large cities anymore, there are areas of cleanliness issues and vagrants walking around! I came to play golf with a group of 32 men and even the courses have declined over the last few years! We are considering other locations for our week long stay!

The breakfast was delicious! Loved that we were provided a key card to the parking garage right beside of the hotel. Loved that you key into the lobby at night and the elevator any time of day, this made us feel extra safe. The staff was super friendly and were really great at their jobs! Thanks for a wonderful stay!
