Dallas is an amazing place, the price points are decent, you don’t have to drive far to get to places. The apartment complex are really nice great quality for your money. This trip solidified my decision to move here. The people are also friendly and amazing.

I dislike the one way roads.
I dislike the one way roads.
By the time you reach your destination, you've passed it and have to circle around again. Some one way streets have the signage halfway down the street instead of the end(s). The "Do Not Enter" sign for one was at the far end, around a blind curve.
City buildings look alike, flat faces sidewalk, street.
Dang, there was the entrance to a parking structure I didn't see in time, etc.
The highways are insane. Small curves for the lanes that go in a wave over short distances (less than 500 feet) at 70 - 90 in a 60mph area.
Houston is far friendlier, I was surprised.

I loved the city and it's flavor for food. We are at Taco city downtown and 360 brunch house it was amazing. Some other attractions was six flags over Texas had a ball. The traffic was thick but the city was worth it.

Dallas is a great city, but if you intend to see as much as possible you need a car. All locations are accessable by DART/TRE but lengthy waits may be in store as co-ordinating links/transfers can be difficult.

The place is amazing for the value it has. I strongly recommend anyone wanting to spend only a couple of days in Dallas to go here, specially if you intend to visit downtown.
The price range vs what is offered is amazing (specially since you have gated parking), the staff is great, and something that is not informed (and I honestly think it should) is that no more than 2 block away there's a streetcar stop that takes you downtown for free every 20 min.
Strongly recommended for those looking for a place to stay while visiting downtown

The room was large and the bed and storage is sufficient for a short stay. Best of all, the Magnolia hotel staff is wonderful and helpful. It is also clear that the Magnolia Hotel means a lot to Texans, and it's clearly got good bones. It felt good walking thru that hotel. Location is central to nearly everything and Uber is easy to book ....but the minute you step outside, have your car ready to zip you off to your next venue.... The outside of the hotel is an envt with its own story.

The breakfast was good and worth the value charged. The location is perfect, just opposite to the dallas aquarium and within walking distance to perot museum and other attractions in the downtown. There is a public parking lot, right in front of the Hotel where 24 hour parking is available. You can take the car in and out any number of time during 24hr.
