HungaryDespite it's distance from the airport/beach, there is usable buses right next door for both of them. There are two diners next to it, and one Walmart, so the location was very convinient with no car.
The room was clean, comfortable, well equipped and big.
The pool, breakfast and staff was also nice.

United StatesThe room was beautiful and clean. The heat and AC both worked well. -yes, I needed both- The staff was very friendly and helpful. The beach was not as close as I had thought but not far at all. The walk to the water once on the beach was definitely longer due to the erosion prevention happening during my stay. It was quiet and private and as a solo traveler I felt safe.

United StatesWe ended up staying at their sister resort Gull Wing Resort right next-door. Because they still had not had their pool ready over the storms. All in all though this resort step was amazing. The room was beautiful and it was very clean. As for Gull Wing next-door. It was also absolutely beautiful. My view was amazing. My room was stunning. The pool was great and the staff was amazing.

I love the beach was very nice and no to much people but...
I love the beach was very nice and no to much people but there no facilities like bathrooms or food around.And you have to get your car to find food. There’s no easy to find places to eat breakfast or lunch.There’s no parking are expensive, so you have to find a restaurant with free parking.

Fort Myers Beach is rebuilding after Hurricane Ian.
Fort Myers Beach is rebuilding after Hurricane Ian. Some properties have reopened -- Lani Kai is one. We chose it to support a family-owned property recovering after the storm. This particular resort is pretty good, though the pool is in the parking lot. It has plenty of beachfront. There aren't many restaurant options.

Traffic is terrible, will take 45 minutesto an hour to go a few miles, limited resources most restaurants are closed, Publix is open and a 7 11, CVS or Walgreen. Closer to the main intersection or bridge maybe the better you are.

It was probably nice before the hurricane.
It was probably nice before the hurricane. Too much construction going on and too many piles of garbage still. Traffic was a nightmare. I think it was 11-13 miles from Lovers key resort to downtown fort Myers beach and it took 2 1/2 hours. It was crazy.

Cool beachy hotel on the marina, lots of plants and flowers. We really liked that there were many places to sit and visit and that there was a smoking area. We walked to a Tiki BBQ restaurant and did karaoke, but it was kind of isolated if you didn't have a car. I think we would have really enjoyed the hotel more if we had arrived earlier or stayed longer, the pool looked really inviting. Great directions on keyless entry but we really kind of missed out on talking to anyone affiliated with the hotel.
