Sanibel Island was a big disappointment. You pay $5 an hour to park. As soon as you open your doors you are attacked by noseeums, or midges. They are like gnats that bite. They follow you to the beach and never stop biting. We didn't stay long. We ran back o our car to get away from them and leave. They followed us and swarmed into our car. They continued to attack us as we drove back to the hotel. I would never go there again.

The hotel room & service was good.
The hotel room & service was good. The one thing I was upset about is that my my car was hit while parked in the hotel parking lot & I didn't feel management really cared. Manager didn't do anything about it like helping me to see the camera footage of the parking lot so I could try & identify the vehicle that hit me so I could report it to the police.

Found two excellent restaurants: Dixie Fish Company, and Salty Papa's Shrimp House. Highly recommend! Beaches on Sanibel Island are wonderful. I came for the purpose of shelling, and I was not disappointed. My favorite was Gulfside Beach City Park.

Make sure when you book you get your points this was an issue with all of the Wyndham properties we stayed at in Florida. Fort Myers is a beautiful place we were there before the hurricane and after and they are still dealing with the issues and it's so sad because this was a hopping place to be. It still is just not the same. We love Fort Myers.

We generally love going to the Sanibel DING National...
We generally love going to the Sanibel DING National Wildlife Refuse, but all the birds that were so prolific a decade ago, were gone. We did see a few shore birds at the state park on the north tip of Fort Myers Beach. We also like the Marco Island Farmer's Market, now on Wednesdays.

Horrible.
We walked in and there were 3 cockroaches crawling away. There were visible signs of bed bugs, and the conditions of the room were so bad we sleptnin our car.

WE love the location of this hotel and we love the queen suite room set-up. It works well for our group to have 2 separate rooms and 1 joining living room space with kitchen. We never need to use the kitchen except for the refrigerator portion but that living area is great space. Bathrooms are spacious and beds are comfy. A/C works well in all rooms. The floor is quiet. we enjoyed the pool this visit as well
