GermanyVery nicely decorated boutique type hotel. Not far from restaurants and the parking was good for a small hotel. Even if the parking lot was full, there was ample street parking available. Pretty nice neighborhood, and I didn’t feel unsafe. The owners were accessible, the check-in was easy, and the chocolates they left in the room were very good. Also a very, very good price for that area.

My family and I came from pa and stayed at this location for a viewing. The property was beautiful and staff was accommodating until they weren’t. Our second day getting ready for the viewing the ceiling vent came down from the ceiling (wasn’t screwed in it was just placed their by tension ) putting small gash in my head causing bleeding I called. The front desk . Maintenance was sent up . I spoke about what happened and when I mentioned how
It fell on my head he replied with oh well that’s just water you’re fine ) as the blood drips down the back of my ear. The maintenance man leaves and says he’ll be back two hours go by we need the bathroom to start getting ready.I go to front desk to ask about switching rooms. I could sense the tension from asking to switch it. They reluctantly switched but I was a song and a dance. I want looking for anything special just come compassion or empathy as we were already dealing with a difficult time. Aside from that issue the hotel was nice but I don’t think
I’ll be returning to this specific one any time in the future.

Kansas City, MO is a very nice city and surrounding area.
Kansas City, MO is a very nice city and surrounding area. Wonderful restaurants and hotels to choose from. Great museums to locate and enjoy. KC Royals and KC Chiefs have two super nice stadiums and loads of parking. Driving in and around KC requires a bit of pre-planning but using your phone's GPS capabilities relieves the stress. We ate at Maggiano's Little Italy in Overland Park, KS and at Jack Stack BBQ located within the Country Club Plaza area in KC, MO. Both restaurants are SUPERB.

I travel to KC fairly regularly.
I travel to KC fairly regularly. Nelson Adkins is probably my favorite art museum of the dozens I have been in. The Plaza area is always nice, Westport is fun, WW 1 museum is great. I think the Power & Light District is OK, perhaps a little phony. The arts area is fun, the barbeque is good. I really like a weekend morning at City Market, and Knuckleheads is one of the best music venues on earth.

We were there specifically to visit the WW1 memorial museum. The traffic was busy, but not bad.
The museum was the best we have ever seen! And we have seen quite a few. Beautiful, powerful, sad and haunting throughout.
The Orangewood hotel next to the airport was clean, well run and very reasonable, and the dinner food was surprisingly good! We really didn’t see any other part of the city before flying out.

The staff were friendly and helpful, they gave me extra help on the area as it was my first time. I had a small issue with one of the bed sheets but it was sorted straight away. The hotel is clean, comfortable and in a great place to visit Country Club Plaza and Kansas City as a whole. There was a good choice at breakfast and plenty available. I'll definitely be looking at staying again if I'm in KC.
