We were able to snorkel right off the beach here and my son really enjoyed diving for seashells. The room was good with everything you might need in a kitchen. Very chilled out feeling, and beautiful sunsets. Cute little breakfast available.

OK, what my daughter and I wanted to do was go to a destination where we can go snorkeling. Just so everyone is aware… The Florida Keys do not have any sandy beaches. You cannot go snorkeling and see anything if you do not take a charter on a boat and go out at least 20-30 minutes off shore. Where we stayed had a wonderful pool and amenities that we took full advantage of. Even though it was hot outside, it was nice to get up early and go to the fish market, have a lazy morning and then go snorkeling in the afternoon. FYI, that’s the best time to go when it’s full sun, you can see more underwater. We went on a mother and daughter trip and it really gave us plenty of time to visit with each other. There was plenty of restaurants to go to, but we had a wonderful gourmet kitchen, and I love to cook… Shopping and getting fresh fish that was caught that morning was the best! My daughter is 25 years old and we had been to Miami to get a tour of the university of Miami at the Marine biology school. What we really wanted to do was enjoy the scenery, the snorkeling and just spending quality time together. Driving down the keys is absolutely amazing!
