Fun for the Whole Family
Located next to Walt Disney World, the city of Kissimmee was founded in the mid-19th century. It is located on the shores of Lake Tohopekaliga, and is the seat of Osceola County, Florida. Kissimmee offers not only a range of hotels near Disney World, but includes a charming historic downtown and activities in contact with nature.
The small town benefited economically during the last years of the 19th century thanks to a drainage operation in the territory of southern Florida that used the area near the city as a base. But the economic crisis in 1893 forced the operation to stop, in the same moment that harsh weather ruined the citrus industry. The opening of Walt Disney World in 1971 brought a real economic renaissance.
The city also includes several modern sports complexes, like the Osceola County Softball Complex. Activities in the surroundings range from cruises through the lake, to visits to the Kennedy Space Center. Hotels in Kissimmee can become a perfect base to explore central Florida, including nearby Orlando.

The location of our rental property was centrally located ( 20-30 min drive)to all of the theme parks. While we only visited the Universal parks, Disney is just around the corner from the property. There are many food venues near the rental, as well as numerous Pubix and Walmarts to pick up any necessities. The kitchen has everything needed for a quick meal at home, if you so desire. The swimming pool was available, although we did not have time to use it. The pool and deck were spotless, as was the whole house. Wonderful stay.

Personally, I am very easy to please, and Kissimmee was exactly what my family needed. The attractions are conveniently located. Aquatica water park was only a 20-minute drive, and SeaWorld was just in between. The Old Town House is adorable and caters to all types of people. My family truly enjoyed every moment of our trip.

I love coming to Kissimmee. It has everything! It's close to Disney, there are plenty of places to eat, you have Old Town amusement park, there are highways that take you straight to Universal Studios and Sea World, hundreds of hotels to choose from, shops, flea markets.... I could go on and on.

Kissimmee is a great place for families of all ages.
Kissimmee is a great place for families of all ages. The access to Disney and Universal is great and simple to get to. There are all of the fast food places as well as delicious sit-downs like Texas Roadhouse, which is a family favorite for us. There are so many attractions, live music events and free events around every corner. The traffic is terrible and getting around can be complicated for a first timer, but if you stay in the outskirts and can avoid the highways, life is easy.

This is an excellent location if you're looking to stay near the Disney Parks and Premium Outlets.
It's about a 30-minute drive from Orlando Airport, but it's well worth it if your main plans include shopping and visiting Disney.

The first feelings of the hotel were almost astonishment. We felt like in a luxurious resort. Nice marble reception, fancy equipment on the upper floor + a kids' playroom next to the reception.
The swimming pool was nice and clean. The room was nice, tidy.
The hotel staff was friendly and helped me when we needed to print some documents.
If you search for a good and affordable hotel near Disney parks, this one is a great option.
