The stairs to walk down to the shore were dismantled.
The lookout tower was under maintenance and not accesible.
Worst part: on the island to see the horseshoe falls, the edge with the railing to get the best view was fenced off - you could not look from near the edge.

Even though we traveled off-season and many businesses were closed, we found plenty of activities and restaurants for lunch or dinner. I highly recommend visiting Niagara Falls National Park, where you'll find beautiful vegetation and stunning views.

It's low season so there's just a few options for eating, it's nice because there's no long lines to enter the attractions like Maid of the Mist or the Cave. Even in late October weather was awesome allowing to walk around the park with just a light jacket.

The Falls is a wonder of nature - definitely worth seeing, especially from the Canadian side.
There are many restaurants close to the park and hotels if you like Indian cuisine or fast food. However, there are a variety of good local restaurants off both exits 19 and 22. A short drive or Uber away.

We spent a lot of time in the park. Niagara Falls was so beautiful.
We went in the evening and watched the colors change. Also the fireworks were great. We would come back again. I hope all of my Grandchildren have the opportunity to come here.

Because we had a rental car, we did not visit the Canadian side. The falls are spectacular. The Maid of the Mist boat ride captures the experience for $30/each. The trolley takes you to Goat Island for the best view. It is a great place for a two day stay.

The hotel has strong attractions of casino and resort. You may enjoy exciting various casino games at a huge clean safe game room, which is not my enjoyment, though. The hotel has wide free parking lot, which I used. The staff is generally friendly and supportive. The neighborhood is safe and this hotel is a walking or driving distance to the Niagara Falls and downtown. It has a beautiful view from my room. I think this is quite a convenient hotel.

Location of the hotel is perfect - just near Niagara Falls State Park. My room was spacious, with 2 big beds. It was clean and tidy. There is a fridge and microwave in the room. The front desk staff is very polite and always eager to help you. I really enjoyed talking to them.
