It's a consumerist based area, where there is very little culture and lots of places to spend and buy things. It's like a Vegas, but for Sponge Bob and Patrick Star's Shell City! Like a amusement park with themes of dinosaurs and hundreds of sugar/candy shops. It was weird. Nice people. VERY expensive. We ended up not eating in any restaurant and went to a convenience store that was across from a Ristorante Italiano and a Crab House, and we ate at their deli, which as about $60.00 less than eating in the places just mentioned.

We like being close to the beach.
We like being close to the beach. Only complaint was as a storm was approaching for Sunday the beach entrance gates were closed on the boardwalk on Saturday. Some could have been left open as it made it difficult to get on the beach. Also some businesses closed early Saturday making it difficult to find things to do with the kids and the storm was still many hours away

Ocean City was great, it's pricey but that's to be expected for a city that thrives on tourism. I loved the foods and convenience of all the local spots. I was there for a music festival and even parking wasn't too much of an issue close to the event. I thoroughly enjoyed my time here and plan on returning in the future. The beach was nice, it seemed to be maintained every morning though it did make a mess of your feet. To sum it up, Ocean City is a great place to visit and worth the trip.

Ocean City is a beautiful place to go The beaches gorgeous, clean and not too busy you get the chance to walk the strip they have a bunch of stores around there a bunch of restaurants Good food my favorite spot when we always go to Ocean City is crab alleys they have the best seafood and no demand pricey but good I will recommend Ocean City to anybody if they're just looking for a nice relaxing week or a nice relaxing weekend to just get away from the hustle and bustle.

Off season in September and early October is a great time to go. Just be ready for schedule changes and early week closures of some restaurants however there are lots that are open all week long. Websites don't always reflect the correct schedules so don't totally assume they are correct especially in off season. Enjoyed Liquid Assets- a bit pricey but great food, drinks and incredible desserts! Liked Lombardi's for good Italian food and Bull on the Beach for roast beef sandwiches and many other seafood options at reasonable prices.

ocean city isnt the same as it was even 5yrs ago . it doesnt have the appeal to my wife and i as it did . the prices at oc have pretty much thinned out alot of people that just cant afford it . also the evening walks on the beach or boardwalk are not the same . its turned into the battle grounds of groups of thugs that choose to cause problems and make it unsafe for families that once enjoyed those things to no longer to do so . i do know you will never have better steamed crabs than OC MD . our favorite is Crab Bag in north OC . subs at Anthonys and pizza at Lombardi's . breakfast at Bayside Skillet and maybe a short drive to the casino in Ocean Pines for a little fun . take the family a short drive to Assateague island to see the horses and maybe a sitka deer . and there are plenty of golf courses to choose from also .

The facility has been updated so it’s a lot nicer than my previous visits. It is also more family friendly than it had been. Thus I noticed a lot more families with children than usually. The restaurant on the rooftop it very upscale and offers a great view of the main strip great for making you feel like your in a nicer hotel. Please dress up for dinner beach attire will not suffice, you will thank me later.

We loved that it was in the perfect spot on the boardwalk and it was clean and pretty. Loved the pool area! And the staff was sweet and kind. The room was cozy and with the windows closed was actually nice and quiet. (We were there during a music festival) we loved it and look forward to going back next year!

Hotel is close to things worth seeing and doing on the boardwalk. Easy parking in hotel's adjoining lot. Staff was very friendly and the room was very clean, with everything perfect and in its place. Also appreciated fresh coffee in the lobby throughout the day.
