United StatesThe Holiday Inn express & Suites Pensacola Airport North at I-10 is a wonderful hotel. We were visiting to attend the Blue Angels Homecoming show. I am not sure if many traveling spectators, would choose or chose this hotel but it worked perfectly for our needs.
We were booked in a king size room. Staff greeted us promptly and were professional and personable. Our room was nicely appointed with a half size refrigerator, microwave, single serve coffee machine with coffee and tea single serve cups.
The room felt modern. There is plenty of lighting and an excellent amount of USB ports and electric outlets that are very accessible.
The bathroom was clean and well stocked with Dove products at the sink and in the shower.
I had read other reviewers rave about the breakfast. And I assure you all the positive feedback is warranted. The breakfast options included cereal, fruit, yogurt, pancakes, French toast, egg, white, omelettes, turkey, sausage, bacon, hot biscuits, bagels, cinnamon roll, muffins, other pastries, three types of juice, and a coffee station. The breakfast was included with our hotel stay and worked well so we would not have to waste time with additional stops on our way to the venue.
I wish we had stayed long enough to use the pool or the fitness center. But they are there for your use should you want them.
The only criticism I have is that the toilet seems to have loosened from the tile floor in our bathroom. I hope the hotel makes the necessary repair.
We would recommend this hotel and will stay here again.

Just up the block from the coffee shop I went to every morning during my stay [Fosko], I was lucky enough to be there on a Saturday morning, while there was a street fair going on (Palafox Market)!
I bought from about 7 vendors... 🍯🍅🍞🧀 and could have made another 8 purchases... but I kept thinking, I can't eat (or pack) all of these items to take back home with me!! Unless I got another bag of luggage. 😁
The people are incredibly nice... the restaurant I went to for breakfast on Sunday was incredible and swarmed. [Bistrology]
Spent most of the weekend at a music festival at the Vince J. Whibbs Sr. Community Maritime Park, right behind the stadium that the minor league baseball team plays. This team also travels to my neck of the woods to play our local club and it's loads of fun.
And the best kept secret... this year, I brought my electric scooter, since most of my locales could be easily accessible using this super easy mode of transportation.
I literally had no issues... the weather was always sunny... the sunsets and sunrises were amazing!! And I'll be back again this time next year!!

Pensacola is great for beaches and good eating. They have a small town feel, but have everything you need in terms of shopping, food, and some cultural experiences. It's good for a short relaxing trip.

There were a lot of jellyfish when we went (July 14-19). Not sure if it’s the area or time of year. We went to the gulf shores 4 years ago and same thing with the jellyfish, it was was in August back then. Pensacola is close to Alabama so you get to see two states. There is a lot to do but you have to drive to get there. It’s not to bad though, didn’t take to long to drive. The hang out in Alabama is a great place to go and eat, shop and live bands. Then the yard is a great place in Alabama to go to for milkshakes and ice cream. The boardwalk in Pensacola is great.

What I like most that it was close to the beach and to the stores gas stations what I like least was that they do need to remodel refrigerators and try to improve the rooms a little bit more. There was no breakfast served at this location.

We stopped in Pensacola at the end a Florida trip, specifically to visit the National Naval Aviation Museum at NAS Pensacola. I had wanted to see it for years and finally had the opportunity; it did not disappoint! Anyone with even mild interest in military and general historical aviation will be impressed and inspired!
Otherwise, while we weren't in Pensacola long, we did enjoy the rest of our visit to a city we'd never visited before. A lot of recent development, with many good restaurants, and overall, just has a good feel to it.

Great location. Convenient for our soccer tournament site and surrounding restaurants. Easy to make the quick drive to the beach. Executive queen suite makes it a comfortable stay for a family of 5. Very clean and breakfast is a nice bonus.
