CanadaWhat an awesome find. Was looking for something different and this fit the bill. Lots of history and a wonderful tour with Michael. He is an amazing story teller. Loved hearing the history. The rooms were clean and comfortable. Nice view of Pittsburgh. Lovely courtyard area and the parking was easy.
Also a great little bar where Michael makes the BEST cocktails. Best chocolate espresso martini I have had.
Great continental breakfast included. Order at night, pick up in the morning.
Great find, totally recommend.

Was born and raised there but hadn't been back in 50 years or so.
Pittsburghers (Yinzers) are still all-in for community, family, sports and great schools & museums. The neighborhoods were somewhat as I recall, definitely not the light/bright world I'm used to on the West Coast but a wonderful place for kids.
We loved the Carnegie Museums, the big cathedrals, the loud and boisterous sports crowd pre-game, the game itself (though the Steelers lost :(, the beautiful architecture, the gorgeous Conservatory (with Christmas lights!). There is something for everyone.
GPS is essential.
Would like to come back in summer for Sunday drives, farmers markets and historic sites.

Nice to be able to walk to so many different places. It is a great location for the stadium close but far enough that you aren't in the crowd. Many places to eat. Not a lot of shopping places. The town is pretty dead in the am.

The location is very close to downtown/ main attractions. Priced very well and room was very spacious, clean which includes sofa, desk and chair, mini fridge, microwave and iron. Also have a covered outdoor pool which includes towels as well. Hotel also breakfast on a grab and go system, breakfast bag includes a muffin, an apple, orange/ apple juice and a bottle water. There is also a coffee / tea area in the lobby.

This apartment was very comfortable and cozy. It is about a 10 minute train ride to downtown Pittsburgh or a 30 minute walk. It is less than a 5 minute walk to restuarants and shops. And the view of the Pittsburgh skyline from the apartment is phenominal.
