SwitzerlandThe hotel is new and in tip-top condition. Our room was well furbished, everything was clean, and breakfast provided us with a great start to the day. We particularly appreciated the nice receptionists who were always in a great mood and ready to help us with any questions we had. The hotel is also well situated if you are mainly staying in Rapid City to explore the Black Hills and Badlands.

United KingdomAs soon as you enter this Microtel Inn & Suites you are met with a bright and sunny atmosphere. The furnishings, in yellow and grey, look very pleasing. This theme is carried on throughout the hotel and rooms. We had not used the Microtel chain before but very pleased we did and will certainly book another Microtel in the future.

The city is OK.
The city is OK. Had a bad experience at the motel we stayed at. Faulty blow dryer ripped into my finger. Copious amounts of blood which we tried to clean up. There may still be blood drops on the door and the ceiling
Wound was cleaned at the hospital by an RN. I am now on antibiotics and getting a tetanus shot

Easy access to Mount Rushmoor, Custer State Park and the amazing Needle Highway, the latter was the highlight of out two-week trip from Salt Lake City through the transit parks, including Yellowstone.

We only stayed 2 nights with one real day.
We only stayed 2 nights with one real day. Didn’t see Deadwood, explore Keystone, except to see Mt Rushmore, didn’t have time to see Crazy Horse, or other places nearby. One full day for the Badlands and Wall (drug), and easily 1.5 hours at Mount Rushmore.

The location is great for seeing several national parks.
The location is great for seeing several national parks. We will recommend staying in Rapid City, just not Microtel. Mt. Rushmore was beautiful, even tho we’ve been before. We toured the motorcycle museum in Sturgis too.

Rapid City is full of surprising charm, with presidential statues seemingly on every street corner adding a unique touch to the cityscape. The food scene is great, offering plenty of tasty spots to enjoy after a day of exploring. Definitely worth a visit!

We enjoyed our stay. Hotel was within a 1/2 of the airport. Plenty of sites to see within a reasonable distance from the hotel. I wish there were more “truly”gluten free restaurants available for those with gluten allergies.

The hotel is in a good location within easy walking distance of the downtown area.
There is ample parking space.
The staff were polite and helpful and gave us an early check in.
We had a suite with separate sitting room and bedroom. There was more than enough space for a couple. The room had a pleasant view over a park, was quiet and had comfortable beds. We slept well.
There were adequate, reasonable quality, towels.
The kitchenette was useful.
We rated the hotel at 4 star standard.

Extremely comfortable with every facility you could wish for - they have thought of everything.
Breakfast was amazing too. I could stay here for a week !
The hotel management and staff are clearly on the ball to ensure their guests have everything they needed.

Hotel was booked through booking.com. I booked twin rooms but hotel receptionist said booking.com had booked single bedded rooms. Had to have fold down beds, which were OK but not as comfortable as proper beds.
