SingaporeAmazing gem!!! Honestly, in my 2 decades of traveling to 50+ countries, and staying at 20+ properties each year, this place is in the top 5% of my favorite properties. They just ticked every box—from proactive communication from the property manager about check-in (& early check in!) to the moment we arrived with the basket of thoughtful goodies with some souvenir mementos), the 1960s themed decor (the cute and fun grass wallpaper, the neon sign, etc.) and we loved the record player and eclectic collection of vinyl. Beyond the room, they pretty much thought of everything to make you happy on the property. The pool is AMAzING with retro lounge chairs, a dolphin fountain and an actual deep pool. They had so many floats and pool noodles so we didn’t need any. I found a perfect nap spot with the hammock strung between two palm trees. While we didn’t make use of it, they had a separate area for grilling and cornhole, and we didn’t have a furry friend with me but they even had a cute dog park! There’s free laundry. And a basket of board games in the rooms. I loved the waffle cotton bathrobes with their hot pink logo so I messaged the manager and sure enough you can buy one. There is “Paradise” bar & grill across the street at the beach and the beach has easy access and showers. The Pearl even provides beach chairs, some beach toys (we were not traveling with kids tho) & a beach wagon you can haul it all with—super convenient). I will for sure be back when next time in St. Pete.
Traveler’s tip: we stayed in Cabana 104 and so glad we did because it was ground level and had a back door that took you directly to the pool —and great views of the pool from the kitchen and dining area windows. Looks like Cabana 105 also has the same layout and pool access, so both are probably the best rooms in terms of lighting, layout and pool access.
Tons of restaurants and cafes in walking distance. A couple of blocks from the small downtown area with shops.

You could see a lot of renovations after the hurricanes. However, it was just lovely. Beach very clean and well maintained. And of course, the beautiful sunsets and walks on the beach is breathtaking!

Kudos to all in the area for a remarkably quick return to pre hurricane life. Sadly some businesses are gone for good. But there are plenty up and running normally. The beach restoration is ongoing in some sections. A go-to restaurant for us was Salt Rock Grill.

We stayed in Treasure Island. Sand Ovation was great. Johns Pass is always nice. Hubbard Marina is a great place to go on a boat tour or fishing trip. Hubbards is also affiliated with the restaurant I believe the Friendly Fisherman. It was very good last time we visited.

We are Floridians, been to the "West coast" quite at few times but this is our first time in Treasure Island. Ocean Club Treasure Island was a great place to be: private, gulf view, right on the beach, clean, free on site parking, excellent amenities and service.
Yet all activities and entertainments are not too far away. Dali museum and downtown St Petersburg are just 20 -30 min away. We have been to the Dali Museum 3 times before but went again. There's always something new. Had great meals every day.
So many other restaurants and activities to enjoy but could not fit in just 3 days. We will be back soon.

We stayed one night on October 1, 2025 and had 5 people of the beach. There is a paved service road next to motel parking lot if you don't want to walk a lot on sand. And of course, the best sunsets!

The hotel has a nice feel about it as it is not big and the 50ies design works really well. The location was perfect - right by a beautiful beach and in walking distance to a range of shops, restaurants and a dolphin watching tour company. We hardly had to use the car during our stay which was nice. It was really lovely to have a little apartment instead of just a room which you normally get with a hotel. That made us a little more independent and we didn’t feel we had to go out for each meal.

But no would never stay here again much nicer hotel and beach bar next door. Think you are paying for name. Basic old rooms budget hotel. Only good thing we left to explore the area and when we returned the rave had finished and we had a nice drink and chat with bar lady before bed.

Check in was fine and staff were helpful. There are a couple of restaurants in walking distance along with a Publix. The hotel has its own beach area and there were plenty of deck chairs and sun loungers. The pool is heated.
