We love the area, and the theater scene is wonderful.
We love the area, and the theater scene is wonderful. While we were there for my husband who was playing in a tournament, we saw two performances and had a great time. We will be back! Clam's Speak was great, Katie's and Lazy Lobster are always great places to eat. Enjoyed going to Detwiller's to get fresh cooked donuts and other food while staying in the area. Definitely recommend!!!

First hotel I see that uses video call centers in India to do the check-ins and check-outs. A screen with a person on the other end sits next to the reception in case a person in not physically present. Strange and outsourced reception not welcoming or optimal.

The only thing that could have been better was the view to the Gulf but it couldn't be helped since there were two hotels that were built in front of Calini's. However, the pool, condo & staff were excellent.
And we had a little view of the Gulf which was great!

Sarasota is a very modern, clean, contemporary city. It has a wonderful waterfront and many parks. The waterfront is very walkable with much to see as far as unique architecture, beautiful water views on the bays and many fantastic high rise high rise buildings to admire. It has some of the best beaches in FL. The city is very easy to get around, ride shares are easy to get. There are many great restaurants with many choices. The city has many cultural and educational benefits: many colleges, a symphony, a ballet troupe, and 4 theaters with unique current plays. The Ringling Museum is a must to see, there are a number of first class performance halls, a zoo, an aquarium, a modern art museum, botanic garden, zoo, great shopping, etc., etc. You will really like Sarasota, it has something for everyone: adults, children, people that love beaches, boats, the sun, culture, good food, etc. We stayed one week and we really needed 2 to do all of the great attractions.

Yes, I'm going to have the steak. How about that? Check out all the rooms make sure all the rooms are free. I think that makes including t cockroaches. I took three cock. Cockroach is strong on my day while I was sleeping that night. Didn't want to help me do anything to deal with it.

We enjoyed taking a boat in peace river, going to the Mote a great day seeing the aquarium’s, birds, otters, manatees. There is plenty of shops if you need to cool down and treat yourself, and of course you are only 20 to 30 minutes away from so many beaches.

We vacationed as a couple. Everything was great!!! The apartments are tastefully and stylishly decorated. Perfectly clean. There is everything you need. A wonderful recreation area, a magnificent pool. The hostess was very responsive and understanding. This is our second time here. I'm sure we will come back again and again. Thank you for a wonderful vacation!!

Nothing...the Hotel was closed and construction workers told us the whole place was closed, as we're all the hotels because they had been destroyed in hurricane Helene. I understood this but would have liked the hotel to let us know our stay was cancelled. Would have saved us from driving from Orlando to sarasota

This is great location if you want to mix beach holiday and city area. Next to hotel there is several dinner places which offers good food. Driving to beach area takes about 10 minutes. Also relex evening drive is a great option. Beach in Sarasota is truly white sands and beach is really wide! Lovely!

The hotel is modern and industrial in style. Breakfast buffet is good value but no healthy options. Great location if you just need somewhere to stay for a night before flying from Sarasota airport. Plenty of free parking. Jacuzzi is nice.
