Israelbeen in a few hotels on our road trip, some more expensive some lees. The Moxy was the best of them all. Super cool vibes and great energy in the lobby/bar. The receptionist prepared us for "cozy" rooms which we know mean small, but the rooms were great, had exactly what we needed and a great view.

I saw in the brochure the many things I could do but I was visiting family primarily so I didn't. It is easy to drive around. Ate German food at the Wasserhunt. Delicious! Ate a grinder at YNot - I live in the Philadelphia area and this sandwich was spot on!

People like the boardwalk/ promenade.
I wouldn't go thete in the high season but good for a short break and breath of sea air.

The actual beach was very nice!
The actual beach was very nice! There was music just about every night on the boardwalk, which was nice just not enough room around the band stand (stage) to get close enough to see the band. Overall, it was an okay stay.

Virginia Beach is a great place to relax on the beach.
Virginia Beach is a great place to relax on the beach. I visited early September; it is easy getting around. Captain George Seafood Restaurant on 1956 Laskin Rd is an all you can eat snow crab leg buffet is a place I recommend you go to dine. I always enjoy being able to rent a bike and ride on the costal front.

Unfortunately, it wasn’t very nice in Virginia Beach. We stayed there. It was cold and windy. Didn’t wanna go on the beach when it was cold so the next day we went on the beach because the sun came out then it got so windy that everything was flying so we went in disappointed. I really wanted my last trip to the beach to be this one, but Another year I guess.

The beach was clean and they were constantly cleaning it. A few sketchy people hanging out but overall fealy safe. If you like fishing, lots of opportunities from shore and boatsl Explore restaurants away from the beach,go to Big Sams which is a local "dive bar" with good food, prices and staff. We liked Ocean Beach in Maryland better but we might come back and stay at a different place. The people we met here especially at the inlet fishing were great. The traffic here is a little crazy and the drivers not very polite but they may not have been the locals

My kids, enjoying the stay in this Hotel; They had and we had a lot of fun. The breakfast was delicious, and the personal was great, I LOVE IT.!

Best location on the boardwalk if you want to avoid some of the crowd. Wonderful views of the ocean and inlet. Convenient to Rudee Inlet, the Virginia Aquarium and all points South (Sandbridge, Back Bay NWR, Military Aviation Museum, etc).

The location right on the beach was fantastic, great bar and food. The room was very clean and comfortable with a fantastic view from the balcony. Parking was also nice and easy and right at the front of the hotel.
