United StatesAwesome place to stay!!! Lots of room in the house; clean towels were brought to us every day and the towels from the day before were picked up. Super nice people; very quiet area. Perfect for visiting Yellowstone National Park since the gate was only about a mile away. West Yellowstone, Montana is a super town to visit with many great restaurants to try!!! We thoroughly enjoyed our visit and would love to come right back!!!

We loved the 'Ice Cream Happy Hour' every afternoon in the lobby, the s'mores kits for the nightly fire pit were also a big winner with our kids. Location is hard to beat, directly across from the Grizzly & Wolf Discovery Centre and a short flat walk (maybe 5 minutes) into the main street. Free parking at the door was much appreciated. Breakfast offerings were great, excellent that most were 'grab and go' style so we could get into the Park as quickly as possible.

Our family had an amazing time in West Yellowstone.
Our family had an amazing time in West Yellowstone. It was a great place to access Yellowstone Park. Buffalo Bar was a great place for dinner. Food and drinks were exceptional . The Gusher piazza shop had great pizza and was less crowded than other places. We enjoyed walking around this town and taking in the sights. The proximity to the park entrance was better than I had expected. The town is very walkable and there is a good selection of tourist shops and restaurants. For breakfast we ate at the running bear pancake house. I highly recommend the boysenberry syrup with the pancakes or the brisket burrito. The pancakes are as big as the plate so use caution when ordering a stack. This place is popular so be prepared to wait especially on weekends. For dinner we tried Hanks chop house and really enjoyed the spinach dip. If cocktails are you thing, huckleberry mules are one of the signature drinks in the area and after trying several other restaurants Hanks has the best Huckleberry mules.Guest review byToddUnited States - 6.0

West Yellowstone offers a variety of accommodation right at the West Entrance to the park. As accommodation is limited within the park, it is a handy to overnight here when spending 2 or more days in the park. There are a variety of bars and restaurants.
