United StatesAwesome place to stay!!! Lots of room in the house; clean towels were brought to us every day and the towels from the day before were picked up. Super nice people; very quiet area. Perfect for visiting Yellowstone National Park since the gate was only about a mile away. West Yellowstone, Montana is a super town to visit with many great restaurants to try!!! We thoroughly enjoyed our visit and would love to come right back!!!

Yellowstone has such amazing scenery, even if you don't get to see all the animals you expect it's worth it just for the views. We were lucky and saw a lot of animals, the only one we didn't get to see were wolves.

West Yellowstone is 5 minutes from Yellowstone NP west entrance and offers a variety of lodging and restaurants.
The Park scenery was beautiful with opportunity to see wildlife. Prepare for a fair amount of driving since the Park is very large.

I really enjoyed everything about Yellowstone. The west entrance was only a couple miles away from our cabin. There’s a restaurant right across the street. There’s also several restaurants and stores a couple blocks away. We ate breakfast every day at the three Bears restaurant. It was great bc they open at 6am. They have a buffet or you can order from the menu .We got stuck in traffic for a little bit in Yellowstone, bc there was a herd of bison that would not get out of road. I loved it, that is what I wanted to see. There are parts of Yellowstone that are absolutely breathtaking.I was disappointed that I didn’t see any bears.

Great location near the national park.
Great location near the national park. Fun restaurants and bars. Try the Buffalo Bar for great bison burgers! Check out Go Go Expresso on Hwy 20 near the Buffalo Bar. It is a cute drive up coffee shop.

Great little town that caters to tourists and has a down-home feel. Plenty of hometown food and options. Truly is 1 minute to the main gates of Yellowstone making it a great place to enter the park. In my opinion it's the best place as you can choose to do the Upper Loop of the park or Lower loop easily. Trip from Bozeman took almost 2 hours as mostly 2 lane highways. Great walkability to the town hot spots from pretty much anywhere and fishing in local rivers appeared to be plentiful.

Guest ranch with individual cabins per group - our cabin was spacious and bed was comfortable. Staff were helpful and the breakfast was fantastic - home made buffet and made-to-order pancakes or french toast depending on the day. About a ten minute drive into West Yellowstone or 15 min from the park entrance (though you then have a 45 min drive from there to get to the main geyser area). Only wish we had enough time to go on a trail ride at the ranch!

We absolutely loved our stay here. Marti at check in was excellent and so friendly throughout. The room was large with good amenities and lovely decor.
Even though the hotel was having renovation work complete, it didn’t affect our stay.
It’s about a 20min drive into GTNP and the drive into the park is a beautiful wildlife area where we spotted many bears!

Location was central and convenient for all of the restaurants and extremely well situated for the West gate into Yellowstone National Park. We would thoroughly recommend this property when visiting West Yellowstone.
