TurkeyProbably the newest hotel in District 1, quite luxury and very central (as the name suggets accurately). But the service quality is another level. We were so fascinated with people always smiling, trying to make us happy and comfortable. It was so clear they were doing these without even expecting a tip. Led by Ms Sam, a clearly very intelligent and promising young businesswoman always in search of improving service, the staff was truly extraordinary (note that there was NO request to me to cite names which is common in Vietnam). Ms Hanna, Mr Tihen, Ms Huong, Mr Hai were all tremendous in their hospitality. The cost and value balance is so optimal at this hotel; it will always be our top choice is Saigon.

New ZealandThis is in a fantastic location for shoppers! Located in Saigon Centre which is very well appointed with an excellent food choices at level 5 and in basement 2. The Opera house is located close by and there is safe walking and shopping nearby at Viacom centre. Despite busyness of street, hotel was quiet and relaxed with very helpful and lovely staff.

1. The staffs are very professional, extremely supportive and eager to make your stay a memorable one. Specially, Mark, Nhi and Coe (if i am not mistaken the name of front desk staff) helped me a lot.
2. My room was exactly carbon copy of the booking dot com photos. No bad surprises.
3. The bed and pillows were very comfortable.
4. The hot water is available round the clock.
5. Breakfast is simple, bread, butter, jam, jelly, egg, fresh fruits (2-3 types),fresh juice, coffee/tea, Crepe (banana/chocolate/honey)... To me it was good.

The hotel is in a square courtyard, away from the busy streets. Would definitely stay there again if we come back!

Target was to visit the War Museum and Cu Chi Tunnels, target achieved.
Both were very good, but touristy and busy.
The war museum was very moving, all credit to the Viet Cong for resisting American aggression.
The Tunnels would be best visited on a VIP private tour, rather than a somewhat rushed bus group.

Too hot even in December. It's very crowded and the local markets are not as great as they are in Hanoi or HoiAn.
The Mekong Delta is a must visit place. And also the food in Ho Chi Minh is great.

The city is busy, busy, busy.
The city is busy, busy, busy. The colonial history and architecture, make for some good sight seeing. Most attractions are fairly central, with the Independence Palace and Army Museum giving a good insight to the countries recent history. Food is fabulous and the SH Garden restaurant is highly recommended.

Vibrant if you stay in the right district a little unwelcoming & full on if you stay in the likes of D5 Chinatown.
"Tourist" district is definitely D1.
I didn't love the food here as much as I thought I was thinking more flavourful like Thailand but it's a little more basic and local than that.
Highlights Ice Coffee I didn't love egg coffee that's more of a dessert.
Sugar Cane drink
Food was just survivable for me.
Loved the Cu Chi Tunnels interesting & informative moderate challenge on the knees 😆
Did not rate Remnants Museum especially in the morning as school groups go through, disrespectful, loud and completely detracts from the feeling you expect to have.
Mekong River Tour not bad cool River, big and industrious the meal was ok but cold.
Oh and at the Tunnels firing the AK47 was a highlight even though I'm not a gun person interesting to know the power of them.
The people of HCM are polite although not the friendly, smiling people I expected but that's because it's a business area.
Grab Scooters are awesome I'm 51 felt very safe definitely get the app.
Overall good place worth seeing.
I wouldn't come back but glad I visited 5 days would be ample.

We were excited to stay in this iconic 5* hotel and it did not disappoint. The lobby was very impressive, as was our enormous room which overlooked the pool area. The air conditioning worked well in communal areas and in the bedroom, which we were grateful for! The room was very clean and the bed was super comfy. Location in district 1 is perfect and all the staff were lovely. We enjoyed a happy hour cocktail in the rooftop bar which has great views over the Saigon River. Highly recommended as a special treat when visiting Ho Chi Minh City.

The hotel is very well located in District 1, making it convenient to walk to the main landmarks. There are also many food options nearby. The room was pretty, very comfortable, and appeared to have been recently renovated. The staff very kind. The breakfast was amazing.
Overall, it’s great value for money and highly recommended if your intention is to use the hotel mainly for sleeping while exploring the city during the day.

The apartment was spacious, spotless, and beautifully decorated, with a stunning river view.
The location is perfect — just a few minutes from District 1 — and the DFour team was incredibly responsive and helpful.
Highly recommend this place for anyone visiting Ho Chi Minh City!

Hotel is near airport (around 20 mins in VN traffic). Nice business hotel lobby with good space for driver to wait. Room was clean and decent. Distance from District 1 is quite far in VN traffic. Around the hotel, nothing much in the area. For business visitor, this hotel is ok but if you are a tourist, you will probably find this district boring.

I recently stayed at Vilion Boutique Hotel in District 1 and I had a wonderful experience. The hotel is beautifully decorated with a vintage theme, and the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean and comfortable. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a stylish and comfortable stay in Ho Chi Minh City.
