Extremely well managed hotel with outstanding service and excellent food quality. The hotel is newly built. Hotel is absolutely amazing. Service is incredible all over Vietnam but at the La Siesta it's even better again. Services provided surprised my expectation.The customer service was superb and I was served by a staff named Nha. She was marvelous and I was personally grateful her services as she was so meticulous in retrieving my lost belonging on a taxi. Not just that. She went over the extra mile to make sure I am feeling okay and not panic with a little personal incident of mine. This was one of the best stays I've ever had in any hotel all over the world, couldn't recommend this place enough.

It was located in the center of the city. You can easily travel to anywhere by walking or riding a grab. There are plenty of local restaurants near the hotel and one convenience store. My room was big and has a lot of space to store stuff. Staffs are all nice and willing to help which I really appreciate it :) On the last night of our stay, one of the staff provided us a small wood bucket with some herbs for a food spa as a complimentary which we didn’t expect it. This was so thoughtful 😍. Overall, after comparing the price and the service that I got, I really recommend you to stay in this place👍🏻

Excellent staff, great room (comfortable bed, spacious apartment with kitchenette, rain head shower with hot water and good water pressure), fantastic breakfast, ideal location, stunning lobby, beautiful pool, spa and fitness centre, and a great rooftop bar! This hotel is amazing! And immaculately curated! If you are an aesthetic you will appreciate the thoughtful design of everything about this hotel. I absolutely loved being here. The attention to detail in the rooms with the woodwork for the furniture, the wood floors, the lighting (low lights for mood, brighter lights for packing) is superb. Our room felt so comfortable, not at all like a hotel, more like being a villa. We were in one of the larger rooms and I recommend upgrading to this size if you can. The rooftop pool and bar are the best place in Saigon to hang out in my opinion - the perfect spot to have an afternoon drink while enjoying the breeze and the views or a morning swim in the pool which was remarkably not too warm, just the perfect temp for cooling off. And plenty of loungers which is always a bonus. The design of the bar and pool area is super cool and very comfortable. The combination of the wood, the metal work design, the lights in the trees, the great views of the city and the breeze, I just loved being up on there with a cocktail watching the lights of Saigon twinkle on below as the sun set on the city. It’s magic. It’s also in a great location in District 1 with easy walking distance to the landmark sites and the river. I recommend this hotel to anyone however if you love design and understand the importance of details you will appreciate it all the more. And a special mention to Chinh for her wonderful help with anything and everything we needed which helped to make our stay so enjoyable. It was the perfect way to end our three weeks in Vietnam - this would be the hotel we’d book again if we are ever back in Saigon.

The room was very spacious and aesthetic. Beds were very comfortable, my kids enjoyed it very much. The place was very clean. The staff was very helpful when we needed assistance. I would recommend this place to anyone visiting district 1 of Saigon! It was such a wonderful stay! Literally the nicest accommodation!

    It was just another city in many ways but we did enjoy the markets. Cafe apartments are worth a visit but the food was disappointing on a Saturday night with multiple cafes sold out of food? Don’t go to Decoration Street - it was suggested on an instagram reel I saw. Seriously… avoid!!

    Lots to do and see!

    Lots to do and see! Saigon Opera house is always showcasing great theatrical performances and I watch the Bamboo Circus. walking down all of the streets as well as the history of the vietnam people, the war time locations.

    I really liked this city, there's so much to do and it is so...

    I really liked this city, there's so much to do and it is so cheap. Be careful of getting in taxis, use the app Grab, I was ripped off twice when I first got there by taxi drivers, once at the airport and a second time by working on meters, we are talking the difference between paying 1milion vietnamese compared with paying 40,000 on the app. Other than that I had a great time and would definitely go again.

    its a full on fantastic city. whatever you want or your needs are its there at a click of the fingers. from parting to chill. i will always be checking back into saigon ( sin city ) HMC. Food is delicious from pho to rice to noodles to bahn . few streets back of the main drag nicer and cheaper. easy to get around good walking or grab bike or car.

    I just arrived and will be there for some time.

    I just arrived and will be there for some time. My advice is not to stay in Quan 1 because many buildings are not fully accessible unless in big hotels. Many hotels are in lane ways behind shops and not accessible by cars. Taxis leave your luggage on the street and you trek your luggage through the laneways to your hotel. Some fancy hotels are actually located in these laneways and they have staff in front to carry the luggage.

    Ho Chi Minh City is incredibly busy, with chaotic motorcycle/scooters traffic that feel like it hasn’t changed since 1970. Surprisingly, despite the chaos and frequent near-misses, there aren't any accidents or visible vehicle damage. The unspoken restraint and calmness of Vietnamese drivers stand out, contrasting with what you might expect from such dense traffic. It’s a striking reminder that different driving cultures can coexist with surprising levels of order. A takeaway for Western countries is to learn from this calm, collective approach to navigating busy streets.

    I stayed at Hotel Thanh Vinh for one week. The room was good for the price. The hotel is in a quiet area. The staff were very friendly. Unfortunately, they couldn't speak much English, but we managed fine by using Google Translate. The hotel is about 5km out from the centre and there are no tourists staying there, only Vietnamese. If you want to meet real people and experience the real Ho Chi Minh City its the place for you. If you want to get ripped off and be surrounded by tourists, stay in District 1.

    Ideal for a short city break in Ho Chi Minh. My group stayed for two nights in two double rooms. Hotel in great location in District 1, located on a quiet street within a busier area. Lots of restaurant options a short walk away with a small 7 11 and circle k at the end of the road. Rooms were perfectly clean and air con was very strong. No street noise heard but could hear some noise from corridor/ next room - no issue with ear plugs. Staff were friendly.
