Thanks to their very efficiently support we managed to received a passport that one of us forgot in the hotel. Ms Hong very carefully packed the passport and found a good transport company that delivered it in Hanoi at midnight the same day, just before our departure to Ha Long early morning.

The location is ideal, conveniently situated near local attractions, and offers breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains and lush rice fields. The staff was remarkably friendly and accommodating, consistently going above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay, we even prolonged our stay one more night just to have enough time to enjoy the hotel itself and the peacefulness of the city.
Breakfast was a highlight, featuring a delicious array of options that catered to various tastes, providing a perfect start to our day. Our room was incredibly spacious and well-equipped, offering all the amenities necessary for a pleasant experience. The hotel also boasts a well-equipped gym, allowing guests to maintain their fitness routines, and two swimming pools—one outdoor and another indoor, which is heated for comfort during colder days.
A special mention goes to Miss Uyen, whose kindness and attentiveness significantly enhanced our experience. she made it a point to ensure that our stay was perfect. I highly recommend the Bamboo Hotel to anyone planning a visit to Sa Pa!

The best part for us was the countryside .
The best part for us was the countryside . The town Was surprisingly noisy, lots of bright lights on the buildings. I expected a quaint town not a very busy touristy place. We took a private taxi 5-6 hours from Hanoi. Very long journey, the last part of the journey is a very steep incline with very rugged roads.

We absolutely loved SA PA.
We absolutely loved SA PA. I would recommend 2 days as it can get froggy to make sure you can see the sites but plenty to do and the people are really nice. I would 1000% come back. The views are absolutely incredible.

Sa Pa City was mostfly in deep fog when I was there early December. The city itself, nothing to write home about, but a good place to travel in to and the biggest city in the region so ofc prefered to use as a base for other activities. The real adventures are outside this gloomy town. Will come again, but spend as much time as possible outside the city.

Very nice town with a pleasant climate. Shopping markets and streets are within a walking distance from the hotel. Restaurants are nearby with many verity to choose from. We experienced the sleeper bus from Hanoi which were very nice new experience for us.

I was in Sapa for a total of 6 days , broken up by 2 treks. Sapa is much busier than I expected, however exploring the town area itself was easy if you were happy to walk, with plenty of nice food options. The Hmong people are lovely , even if you don’t buy from them. Sapa needs to get rid of single use plastics to protect their environment before it’s too late. Fansipan is awesome, Homestay trekking was perfect with Sapa as a base

We were only here for 2 days but could easily have stayed at least an extra 2 days to see more. Sap was great for Fansipan the highest Mountain in Indochina, Cat Cat village, Moana Sapa and the culture. We had a herbal hot tub at one of the Spa places and it was a great experience, highly recommended as it is something you can't always do. We had the buffet lunch at Fansipan and we had dinner at the local night markets which was great. We caught the sleeper bus up and the sleeper train back down but the bus journey to the train station was a bit hectic. I think you can easily just use another sleeper bus to your next destination. Grab is so easy and cheap here.

We had a lovely few days staying in this hotel. The reception staff were incredibly helpful, letting us shower in a room once we'd checked out, storing our valuables whilst we did an overnight hike in Sapa, giving us a free room upgrade, and helping us sort out taxis to the train station. Mia in particular made us feel right at home, and this was our favourite hotel we stayed at in Vietnam! Location is also great - close to the centre but on a quiet street with lots of lovely coffee shops around :)

The hotel is mostly a self-service venue, but everything worked well from checkin to checkout. Room was clean, comfy bed, with heating blankets, something I never saw before in Vietnam, but in winter you may need them. Nice kitchen you can use if you want.
Be aware that the hotel is quite far below the street level, you need to bring your luggage down over many stairs and then up again to your room (no elevator) - for me it was not a problem though.

The hotel is located perfectly. The rooms are nice and clean with a great shower. The owner Eric is sooo friendly and helped me a lot with finding transportation leaving Sa Pa after having a horrible experience with a bus company.
He even checked on me if I arrived safely which I couldn't appreciate enough being a female solo traveler. If you are looking for a cheap but good hotel, you found it! 😊

I would give this place a 20/10 if I could. It is beyond incredible on every level. The room, the staff, the views, the service- everything exceeded our expectations. We would highly recommend this place- without hesitation. The breakfast was lovely. It is one of the only hotels in Vietnam that didn’t heckle us for a good review. This place is an absolute must if you are staying in Sapa.
