Beautiful location with stunning views and nice walking trails. The cabins were very cosy. At night it got quite cold, but there was a fireplace in the bedroom and the staff put warm water bottles in the beds. The meals were great and so were the staff and the dogs! We had a great time here, highly recommended!

The view from Montusi is unlike no other. It has a very charming vibe and the staff and the owner are very nice. We did a helicopter ride over drakensberg which I highly recommend. They organised as well a full moon walk with a camp fire and amarulla (south african liqueur). The bed is comfortable, the rooms are clean, the food is good.

The setting and facilities are fabulous. Hiking trails for all levels of fitness are available. Service is at exactly at the right level - attentive but not intrusive. Special mention for Lawrence who went above and beyond to locate a place where we could purchase steering fluid for our car. The room was excellent while the heating was well designed. All meals were of exceptional quality. Would definitely like to return.

We felt like at home even with very bad weather conditions. Thanks to Simon for everything: the walk, the fire,.. we want to come back when the weather is more sunny.

Great location, good place to hike from. Room was great, good bed after a long hike. The resturant options were not amazing but they were adequate for pre hike and post hike meals. They make a packed lunch if you require. We had one small problem where we had to use all our cash to pay for our hike to the falls as their card machines were down in the morning which meant we didn't have cash for tips which was disappointing to the wondering waiting staff at the resturant, which wasn't ideal

The Team was great and realy nice! Also the food was tasty! I recommend the Pizza with Anchovis!;) The Lay is perfectly near to the National Park and Hiking Trails! We would definitively come Back!

Fabulous place with amazing views and a wonderful secluded feeling. The room was clean and very comfortable. The dinner served in the cottage was the best I had in 10 days of SA travel. Really exceptional.
