IsraelI loved the room-very clean, modern, spacious and they had it cleaned every day, so coming back to air conditioned clean room was fantastic.
The breakfast area was beautiful, great views to the ocean and green point garden, the wind was so refreshing and the breakfast was delicious and made with good products. The staff made us the exact coffee we wanted and after 2 days already remembered our coffee order. The omelette station was great too with a choice of cheese, tomatoes, mushrooms and more. I loved the small salmon slices with a fresh toast in the morning.
The top floor was very nice, with a ‘homework room’ for business purposes-I even did a school assignment there for a few hours while getting the ocean breeze and a nice view when I lifted my eyes off my laptop. The pool is relatively small so very short swimming is possible, but I enjoyed cooling off in the pool with a view to the ocean. The pool temperature was pretty nice, especially comparing to the 18-degrees-Celsius ocean temperature (which I couldn’t even get into haha).
I’ll add some photos for reference.
And generally speaking, this was one of the best stays ever, which means a lot.
Last thought- after looking for weeks for the best accommodation, and seeing all the prices out there, I felt that the value for money in this stay was excellent. Highly recommended.

Shops and some eateries within minutes, yet pristine and quiet relaxing setting. Nice restaurant, helpful staff, beautiful gardens. Gym/pool are great. Staff are friendly and helpful - we had a small issue with the shower drain and it was fixed promptly. Likely best option for Kaapstadt visit. Get a car for travel to Stollenbosch and Konstantia. Walk about in the wonderful Claremont neighbourhood. Enjoy the marvellous Mountain View.

Cool, Colorful Cape

Cape Town’s history does have some darker periods, and some of its memorable places from this time deserve to be visited: Robben Island jail, the City Hall from which Nelson Mandela gave his first public speech, and the statues of the 4 South African Nobel Peace Prize winners on the V&A Waterfront.

Great place to visit for a few days, on a longer trip on the south coast to visit other great places. I find its better to climb the Table mountain, visit the Cape of Good Hope, go to the Boulders beach and other beach locations, visit Kirstenbosch Botanical garden, drive round the many locations, take a ferry of even a helicopter trip, which I find more interesting than visiting the main city area.

Table Mountain is the star - its image is constantly changing, it provides a challenge for anyone who wants to walk up it (though you can skip the effort and go by cable car), and the views from the top are amazing. You can eat well at the V&A Waterfront, of course, but don't neglect the small cafes and restaurants further inland. Book trips to the Cape peninsula (staggering views, wildlife, lots of wind!) and wine-tasting (we went to Stellenbosch, Franschhoek and Paarl). Don't forget local walking tours eg Bo Kaap or a township such as Langa. And get out in the bay if the sea is calm - a sunset boat trip is not to be missed. Take Ubers everywhere - quick and safe.

Cape town is always a great and exciting place to visit with a lot of activities to do, especially on your birthday cause they are free. The weather is great most of the times and windy on some days. Various beaches to go to and lots of tourist attractions. Most of the places are walking distances from each other, but if its not you have uber or bolt to use(which can be costly and needs a budget of its own😁).

This hotel is excellent, and I highly recommend it for families due to its spacious rooms. It is located in a great area to experience the various attractions Cape Town has to offer. We especially enjoyed the complimentary shuttle services to the V&A Waterfront. The service is outstanding. If you decide to stay at a Southern Sun Hotel, I suggest spending at least two nights at this hotel before booking at the Waterfront. The MyCitySightseeing bus is a street away,
approximately a 3-minute walk.

Very comfortable rooms and wonderful ambience throughout whole property. This is a real boutique hotel offering a highly personalised service and a big thanks to Raymond and his team for all their excellent tips and booking us tables at some of the best restaurants in the area. Breakfast was included in the rate and was excellent quality, cooked to order. All the staff were top rate.
