United Kingdomi always book a room with a sea view. Breakfast always has a good variety of foods, and staff are very attentive and friendly. For the Comrades's runner we require a very early breakfast and i find it very slightly disappointing, as the hotel is 90% full of runners from all nations. A special shout out to the concierge ( a tall , solid looking, white Sth African whose name i cannot remember), he service was OUTSTANDING. Nothing was too much trouble for him.

The view of the sea from the hotels especially in the morning. I was easy moving around, we managed to take the kids to the Shaka Marine, Moses Mabhida Stadium and what a co-incident the Pirates match on Saturday, Musgrave Mall, South Beach etc.

The apartment was dirty, grimy and dusty. The contact numbers provided on the envelope were no longer in use. It was frustrating not able to communicate. Hostaway did not accept any accountability. When brought to their attention, they advised they could provide a cleaner at my cost for R500. The apartment smelt stale because rugs were filthy, sheets were disgusting. WIFI logins provided were incorrect. Hostaway insisted it was because there was an issue with my phone. I pointed out that three people could not be having phone issues. An hour of back and forth, they eventually provided me with correct logins. The pictures were a mis representation, it definitely was not pristine or clean. It was money wasted.

Ushaka Marine was my favorite, i enjoyed a lot during Dolphin playing and learn a lot about Sharks.
My first meal was at kfc, my kids enjoy there meal at steers that was around 23 The Shade.
Yes its easy to get to Durban and walking around the Beach was the most thing i enjoyed as the fresh air coming from the ocean.
Things that i will avoid on my next trip is N3 it has a lot of construction and lot of trucks, flying to Durban i think it could help.

The location was excellent. The b and b is situated in a safe area, and is in easy walking distance to the promenade if one does not mind an uphill return walk. Alternatively, just a few minutes away by car and free parking is available near the beachfront at Durban View Park. Also only a few kms away from the centre, with many restaurants and malls nearby. The room was very comfortable and the breakfast was very good. Ample secure parking is provided.

The Hotel has lots of charm. The room that I had stayed in was neat, clean and tidy. All the available items within the room were operational, including the usb charging sockets. The bathroom was cleaned daily and toiletries replaced accordingly. The towels were clean and white. Whilst the hotel has old school charm, it is a perfect destination for a business stay. It is central to durban as well as to pinetown.
