Joburg was fantastic & green. Warm & it was a really good experience. People are super friendly & I would really recommend getting an Uber or guide for your stay. Mine was with me for my eight days & very grateful for his assistance 🙏

We included a trip to Soweto which was definitely worthwhile...
We included a trip to Soweto which was definitely worthwhile. We used the hop on/hop off bus to tour the city, gain a bit of city knowledge and also as an access to the Apartheid Museum. The Sunday Arts and Crafts market at Rosebank was also worthwhile.

Mall of Africa was a Big craze for the Black Friday, we shopped till late. It's a one stop shop. Ate at Spurs and the doughnut shop across not sure the name, hot wings from chicken liken and Seafood I loved the shopping experience at Nelson Mandela square. Gold reef city is a must go - just don't go with a wig on, leave your wig at home.

Everything was good.
Everything was good. Except the Bolts disappointed me during my request to travel with one to Soweto Marathon. No Bolt pitched or came to my place/the Guest house. They kept on redirecting me and not coming till i made arrangements by myself to get to the race. It was so disappointing. These Bolts😞

Its a great city, you can find almost everything you are looking for, from clothing, to places to eat and entertainment. The exchange rate has made it a cheap destination to visit for us regional visitors. All shops you find in developed countries, you find them here and more

I grew up close to Jozi, so it’s always a sentimental experience to see it again. The mine dumps and distressed buildings in town, the cemeteries and tall buildings, I love it! Living in Cape Town where local government fixes roads and cleans the streets, I’m always a bit shocked when I go up to see the level of decay, but the people and the vibe at least makes up for it! I spent a lot of time in Joburg central this time at the markets, and I loved it! It just has something no other place does.

Facilities were terrible - showers flooded both bathrooms, rooms in different towers so really far apart. Room service a disgrace - food delivered in alfoil trays no salt and pepper and food quality terrible. Staff were responsive but couldn’t do much just delivered extra towels to mop up bathroom floods! One shower didn’t even work in second apartment when we arrived. Definitely not a 5 star hotel or experience. Location excellent for Sandton City.

Location is great for the Sandton district of Johannesburg, your are directly opposite a large mall with a good selection of food outlets and shops. The Hotels own bar/resteraint Riffs is excellent in quality and value for money.

The best hotel in Johannesburg. Peaceful and nature place, surrounded by trees, flowers and animals. Staff is amazing, always kind and there to help you. I will come back for sure.
