CroatiaWhere do I start, what a beautifully preserved and magnificent space to stay in. Our incredibly kind host took me through all the family history linked to the property. The furniture in the apartment is fascinating and it felt like taking a step back in time to stay there.
It is a very spacious place to stay too. Access to the old bazaar is mere minutes. The view from the back door of the mountains is wonderful and as it was summer when we stayed the wonderful breeze that blew through the property when you opened the back door was a welcome feeling.

NetherlandsThis is the most cozy apartment we have ever stayed in. It’s like staying with family. Especially as the lady of the house came to bring us delicious food several times. She brought us rice pourage which brought me back to my youth 🤗 The bed is super comfortable, the shower and WiFi are great. The apartment has everything and more than you can wish for as its awfully furnished house. The location was perfect for us. We enjoyed the road up to the center and it was easy to park the car infront of the apartment. As every location up till now has been challenging to find in Albania. For us we followed google maps and then drove up the hill until we saw a bruncht blue house on the left hand side.

Aleks and his grandparents let us pick tomatoes and peppers from the garden. The best thing was the garage, we put the car in the garage and the door opened with a remote control.

Saudi ArabiaWe had a truly wonderful stay at this beautiful and authentic Albanian home in Shkodër. The cleanliness of the house was outstanding — better than many hotels we’ve stayed in around the world — and it made us feel completely at home. The house reflects true Albanian heritage, with so many thoughtful details and touches of local culture.
The hosts were exceptionally kind, respectful, and helpful. They welcomed us warmly, were always quick to respond to our messages, and went out of their way to assist us whenever we needed anything. We truly appreciated their generosity and hospitality.
The garden is lovely and offers a beautiful view of the castle. The location is perfect — just a short walk to the bazaar and many restaurants. There are also two small fruit and grocery shops very close to the house, and a larger supermarket a little farther away.
The kitchen was fully equipped, with everything we needed to cook, and nothing was missing in the house. One of the sweetest touches was a fresh, delicious homemade cake offered to us — made by the host’s mother. It was such a kind and heartfelt gesture.

The view from the house was fantastic, especially at night when the city of Gjirokastër lit up – truly magical! The hospitality was warm and friendly, and the host was always helpful whenever I had a question.
This house is definitely perfect for anyone who loves peace, nature, and individuality — far from the crowds of tourists. I would absolutely recommend it without hesitation!
